Excellent combination of rustic and outdoorsy whilst providing all the home comforts one would want. Great spot to charge an EV securely, excellent place for your pet/dog to roam around essentially freely, cozy fire-place, awesome bath-tub overlooking a serene view, and the cooking/bbq set up was awesome to entertain your significant other or friends. The best touch is that the accommodation will be privately reserved and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Set on a 6 acre valley of NZ bush, forest and orchard, Quirky Woods - Glamping Cabins at Maketu in Maketu offers 3 private cabins, barbecue facilities and a garden. Charlotte and Simon were amazing hosts and could not have done more us. Wonderfully quiet location and very good facilities.

We were the only people staying as the room letting is limited at present. There's a real "beachy" vibe about the place. A bit of "Bali in NZ" so to speak. Villas & Vines Glamping has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Hastings, 13 km from McLean Park. A very comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Loved the little extras from the hosts such as marshmallows for toasting over the fire. A beautiful setting, we loved our stay. Hosts were lovely and helpful, and we can’t wait to come back!

We arrived late due to a problem we had and they waited for us to check in, the location was wonderful. We rested and had a wonderful time staying there. The staff was always very concerned about making us feel comfortable.
