Location was a bit out of town. It’s was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was great. The room was prefect. It was immaculately clean. Originally we were booked into an upstairs room. I had requested a ground floor room as we have mobility issues. They changed our room without question and it met our needs perfectly ie two mature adults and an elderly dog who can’t do stairs.
Staff were amazing. Including reception, bar, Restuarant and cleaning staff. Friendly but professional. They couldn’t do enough to help. Pet friendly and our dog had a lovely time.
Set in Cadaqués, this hotel is well located for a sunny beach break on the Costa Brava. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and olive tree garden.

We had an excellent stay at the Sol Ixent. We stayed for 2 nights on a roadtrip through northern Spain.
The location is wonderful in Cadaqués. The hotel is situated in beautiful, restful gardens with birds flying around and it is a very easy stroll into town. We walked into town and back both nights to eat and I’d say it took around 15 mins.
The staff were really great - thanks to the fabulous restaurant staff and the lovely ladies serving at breakfast. We had a few delightful exchanges with them, and some laughs.
We would definitely return here.

Cadaqués is a Spanish harbour town in north Catalonia on the beautiful Costa Brava, about a 2-hour drive from Barcelona. The white of the houses and the blue of the sky inspired many famous artists like Matisse, Picasso and Max Ernst, who decided to live there for a period of their life.
Featuring traditional Mediterranean architecture with narrow streets, a sophisticated atmosphere and a paradise bay with small fishing boats, the medieval town of Cadaqués is home to important churches and museums.
The world-renown surrealist painter Salvador Dali lived in Port Lligat, in a former fisherman's house with his everlasting love Gala. Today the house of Salvador Dali is open to the public and you can visit the artist’s atelier, the library and the garden.
Travellers should not miss the national park of Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of mainland Catalonia with a historic lighthouse built in 1853. This unique place is perfect for hiking or boat excursions.
The promenade area of Cadaqués has many local restaurants serving Catalan specialities. Booking.com will help you find a hotel, guest house or resort in the heart of this picturesque town and the nearby cities of Roses, Empúriabrava and Sant Pere Pescador.
Beautiful seaside town. Picturesque and charming. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops. A must visit is the trip to Dali’s house, just stunning. Crystal clear water for swimming. Would definitely return.

Beautiful town and coastline.
Beautiful town and coastline. Exceedingly windy therefore cold but we went in April. Restaurants and supermarkets overpriced but lovely church, museum, little shops and steep windy streets to wander around. Twenty minute drive to get there winding back and forth through the mountains so not great if you get carsick.
Beautiful walks in all directions if you can brave the wind.

Cadaques is a small town, still with a lot of excellent small independent restaurants, design shops. It has some exquisite bays for swimming as well as exceptional scenery. everything is walking distance including the Salvador Dali home. If you like biking or trekking it is also a very good choice. Do not miss Cap de Creus natural reserve, where you can even have lunch or dinner. The food is always exceptional in Cadaques

Cadaques is a beautiful hidden gem.
Cadaques is a beautiful hidden gem. Most visitors have driven from neighbouring France or other parts of Spain, not many Brits abroad! It's a bustling and very family friendly town. Plenty of places to eat and drink and you can spend your days on the beach, doing watersports, visiting Dali's House, or at your hotel pool. Walking along the harbour at night is beautiful.

Cadeques is a very quaint little village with lots of lovely cafes, eateries and bars. Their is lots to see and a lot of shops (if you like shopping?).
Not a place for high heals due to steep hills and uneven pavements but the place is full of people that like to promenade!. Very very busy place, lots of day trippers. All the beaches are small and rocky. A coastal walk is recommended to find a rare sandy (ish) beach. Picturesque and well worth a visit. Tourists predominately French
Cadaques is a wonderful place to stay and the hotel provided everything we needed. Although the double room was very small we were delighted and surprised to find a private covered balcony with table and chairs and a rooftop view including the beautiful hilltop church. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was good, the shower room was basic but modern and clean. There was a safe and hanging space and bedside tables and lamps. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
This hotel is perfectly situated in Cadaques. You can walk everywhere. There is a lovely little beach in front of the hotel and great dining options within steps. We loved our balcony room, a great view of the harbor and town all day and night. Despite being on the main road, the room is quiet and relaxing. The pool area is also really nice.
My husband and I loved our stay and will be back again and again.
The parking garage is great, but small even for Europe.
Location with lotsa steps which less agile folks may find inconvenient and tedious to access. They provide buggy to help with luggage as parking is in parking area away from hotel. Very basic room hardly any amenities and not even tissue paper. Coffee is available at €2 per Nespresso capsule but there’s free water in lobby fridge. Staff are friendly and helpful in general.
The view is to die for! This a family run hotel and everyone was kind and generous to us. The walk to town is a good way to stretch your legs and the neighborhood is safe and picturesque. We can sincerely say our expectations were blown away and we were so glad we decided to stay here for three nights.
What a great hotel! Where to begin: The most stunning view at Cadaqués from your room, best breakfast ever (3 courses, everything fresh and prepared for you). Perfectly crisp & clean rooms and a very warm and hospitable family running the hotel. One of our best experiences ever!
The decor/style of the hotel and room was very chic. There is a lovely relaxed vibe here and as it's quite a small hotel so it never felt crowded. A great breakfast selection was provided in a beautiful garden room. The lady at reception had a welcoming and pleasant manor.
We absolutely loved it. The staff was amazing and so attentive. The hotel itself was clean, very quaint and just has a great vibe to it. Plus, being able to walk into downtown Cadaques to enjoy the shopping, restaurants and history made the hotel perfect for our family.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the entire hotel was clean and cute. It was in the perfect location to see Cadaques and have a quiet getaway. Would absolutely recommend going there, and I hope I get the chance to go back!
We had a spectacular view. The hotel is in a great location, near enough to walk to everything but apart so it was very quiet. We loved the whole experience of Cadaques. Good breakfast in a lovely lobby.
This hotel was exceptional beautiful and the outlook from all areas was amazing. It was also an easy and glorious stroll into the centre of Cadaques, which is truly worth a visit.
Everything the owners and staff were the most friendly we have met on this trip the pool was perfect rooms clean and generous size balcony lovely view can’t fault the hotel
The views from the hotel was incredible! The property was just breathtaking and the staff amazing - we ate breakfast on the patio by the pool and the view was exceptional.
