Excellent choice to stay in Kuanas city centre. 2min for the main pedestrian road and all its bars and restaurants. Kaunas city centre is very nice and suitable for families. The room was spacious and very clean with a daily service. The brakfast was really nice and full of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. We also had a rental car and we were able to park in hotel's parking. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and central location in Kaunas.

I recently stayed at Very Bad Hotel from May 18th to 19th, and I had a delightful experience. Despite its name, the hotel is actually very nice. It’s a small boutique hotel with a unique and charming decoration that sets it apart from the typical accommodations.
The breakfast was simple but good, offering enough variety to start the day off right. This time, the room I stayed in was a bit small, but I noticed that they have other room options available for those who need more space.
One of the standout features of Very Bad Hotel is the check-in and check-out process, which is incredibly easy and fast. The hotel sends a message with a code, allowing you to retrieve your key at any time, making it very convenient for travelers with varying schedules.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, I found my stay to be very pleasant.

The old town area is highlight. Trams extreme cheap. Centre main road pedestrianised well with a walk. Outside haven’t got much to see but is pleasant. People and bus drivers can be rude and ill mannered but Apparantly this is known. Younger people seem very good and helpful. Language is a problem at times.

What a beautiful city, clean, safe, spacious, green (by this I mean lots of trees and open spaces AND green initiatives like trolley buses, pedestrian spaces and robot mowers!).
Really interesting architecture (beautiful central domed cathedral and period architecture buildings), street scenes and cafe culture. Longest shopping street in Europe! Euro currency. A safe, family feel. Great Bolt taxi service and good choice of hotels and restaurants. Lots of cafes, bars and pubs. Good for couples, families and friends. I really loved it. I’m told it is very Lithuanian, which would be great praise for the country. It should have been higher up my travel list. We came from the UK for the Nord Orthopaedic clinic (VERY EXCELLENT) but will be back for holidays. Nice straight talking locals with excellent English language. Its really easy. Also a great, modern, close airport. All good.
Amberton is just in the very center of old town in Kaunas. Hotel itself uses contactless check-in and check-out process and it was very convenient. Room was spacious and bed comfortable, only lightning in the bathroom was poor - it was very dim there. Breakfast was OK, but selection could have been better. Overall, price / value is spot on and can recommend!
gym room i found it very relaxing,, the restaurant is small ,,but good for the property,,the massage was excellent,,,
the staff was very helpful...
they even sent me my id card and some money in safe to warsawa which I forgot in the hotel safe, and booked hotel in city for that purpose..
I had to come back to it from Lithuania by bus,,2 ways,,
It's a nice hotel right in the city center, we chose it pretty fast and I will probably get back.
1. Location is perfect, it truly can't be better, right in the city center.
2. The staff is very nice and helpful.
3. The rooms are old but nice. You have a lot of space, everything is clean, beds are comfy (not super comfy though).
Nice hotel in the centre of the city, close to the main pedestrian passage. Safe parking in the yard behind the hotel. Getting there is not a problem, as the hotel sent a detailed description of the getaway route. Only the entrance leading from the car park directly to the hotel should be better signposted.
Easy to see why this place is so highly rated. It’s fully equipped with everything you might need and in great location right in the heart of the city. Parking was super easy and communication with the hosts was great. We stayed as a couple with a 11 month old and it was perfect.
Location is perfect, centre of the city, beautiful Laisves Aleja, walking centre of Kaunas. All shops, coffee shops in one walking street. Rooms are very clean. We had a good nights sleep as noise isolation is perfect.
Location is absolutely great, in the middle of the city centre, so pretty much everything is within walking distance. Parking spaces are provided, hotel is new, rooms are well equipped, really clean and comfortable.
Great location- not too far from the city center. The hotel is a bit off the street so there's no traffic noise. The room was clean and tidy. Parking space in front of the hotel. Quite good breakfast buffet.
The hotel is located in an amazing spot, close to the main avenue. Great restaurants, coffee shops and almost all of the city’s attractions are nearby. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was very good.
Cozy and tidy room. The hotel is located further from the city centre, so we managed to get some peace and quiet we hoped. The restaurant next to the hotel provided a great dinner.
Very good location, old town and main street is just 2&3 km walk , buss stop is in the fron of hotel and buss 29G goes from Airport to city, the staff is friendly, good breakfast.
