Dikelilingi oleh hutan, Cocoon Hotel La Rive terletak di tepi Sungai Sauer di kaki Istana Bourscheid. What a lovely hotel. The location is beautiful, right on the river below Bourscheid castle. The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but we were not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice smelling shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

Great location set into the rock by the river basin. We swam in the river most days, the water was not too cold and the current is weak due to the basin. Breakfast is a high quality buffet. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Dinner is reasonably priced and again high quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had our car with us and it’s a few mins drive to the train station (public transport is free in Luxembourg).

Super friendly staff , extremely helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good and breakfast had more than you need!
