The hotel is situated more or less in the field, but with a motorway nearby, which results in some weak background noise. Sometimes in the morning we heard the sounds of moving furniture (?), noises and bumps coming from upper (?) floor. If this was cleaning, IMHO, they should start not earlier than 9.

Modern hotel near Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. Modern well equipped rooms, modern shower, balcony with small table and chairs, where we enjoyed our evenings. Small fridge and kettle in the room. Large parking. Very kind (Russian speaking) staff. Value for money (90+€/room/night) is very good.

Everything was absolutely amazing, from cleanliness to staff and all amenities. I highly recommend Das Essigmanngut to everyone. Rooms are quiet and comfy, staff is more than friendly, breakfast is delicious and special mentions go to the large free parking lot, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and lunch packs. We will most surely return whenever visiting the Salzburg area. Location is also pretty good but I especially recommend it to those traveling by own means of transportation.

The rooms are rather small and the bed comfort was adequate but nothing special

The breakfast buffet was huge, very varied, and delicious. It was the highlight of our stay at the hotel. The hotel overall is very nice, with lovely common areas, and the mountain view is sublime. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable. The hotel is quiet and a perfect place to rest. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in the Salzburg area. We stayed for 5 nights and had a vehicle. There are also a few good restaurants nearby.

The downsides are that it can be a bit difficult to find due to its location being somewhat far from the city. Also, the kettle in the room was full of limescale.

It's a very pleasant hotel with a rich breakfast and the staff are very polite and helpful. The room was also quite clean and spacious.

Zero ventilation in rooms - you must have a window open at all times for any sort of airflow. Bed was very stiff but maybe some people prefer that. Highway noise was also distracting.

Modern, clean hotel with large rooms. Very efficient staff and superior breakfast buffet. Outdoor park is a great bonus for kids! Convenient location but you will need to drive to do anything.

Location is nice, quiet. Breakfast was tasty, with a variety of foods such as eggs, bacon, sausages, yoghurt, fresh cuts of cheese and meat, fresh salads. Once empty, waiters were immediately replenishing food.

Close to highway which is good when you need a place close by while traveling but can also be loud. I slept good though so I guess the windows are well isolated.
