We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

I couldn't fault the accommodation. As I am visually impaired I found it difficult to negotiate the stairs.
Palm cove was in an ideal location. It was close to the CBD and waterfront. The room had been renovated tastefully and was a large size. The bed was comfortable and the room was dark for sleeping. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very courteous and offered to assist us with our bags.

There was a lot of noise from the neighbours around midnight and also sounds of heavy doors being open and shut above. It hampered our sleep and I guess the sound proofing could have been a bit better.
Room and location were excellent. The room was clean, well maintained and well stocked. The staff were friendly and the procedures were smooth and easy

It was hard to access the car park or even see the entry in peak hour traffic, car park was not secure (not a feature usually found in motels/motor inns but nice if you can’t see the car from your room) and the little fridge had a water leak in the freezer so my esky freezer pack was stuck in the morning and I split the pack trying to get it out. I had to leave it so I didn’t risk damaging the fridge. Also the booking.com app mentioned a restaurant in the listing but I don’t believe there was one, the info pack in the room only mentioned local nearby restaurants. It wasn’t a factor in me choosing to stay there though. The car park exit height is probably too low to let really big vehicles out. Didn’t affect me but I noticed it. I could be wrong but it seemed very low when I drove under it.
Nice staff, comfortable clean room, everything I needed. Undercover parking. Even a little balcony with a view though I didn’t actually use it, it was dark by the time I arrived. There were full size bottles of shampoo conditioner, body wash and hand soap secured in the shower/sink which was nice and convenient. Convenient kitchenette items including a kettle and microwave. Decent size mini bottle of milk and lots of tea and coffee options though I took my own coffee.

Potentially no problem but if you have a large vehicle beware of basement roof height as could be potentially low.
Port Macquarie is a bit of a hidden gem in between Sydney and the Gold Coast. Really enjoyed a 5 day stay whilst travelling the east coast. Very nice hotel located close to waterfront and town centre. No restaurant on site but plenty of eating options nearby. Underground parking available.

Low roof on carpark - beware if you drive a 4X4 it will likely not fit or at least be extremely close. However, plenty of car parks are close by (just not undercover). Be careful opening your boot if you own an SUV. Because of the low roof. metal brackets that hold up pipes are not friendly to your paintwork. A simple pool noodle over the offending brackets would cushion the blow.
Comfortable beds, clean and central. Quality tea/coffee, shampoo and conditions + body wash, microwave and cutlery/dishes to have for basic meals if desired.

Access was via a number of stairs. Shower head was large square overhead type which did not allow any angle adjustment.
Good location. Receptionist was very helpful. Nice view of creek from window. Nice Korean restaurant adjacent and lots of coffee shops close.

The parking area was very restricted in space and height. My Toyota car didn’t fit. The roof was only 1.85m high. Had to park on the street.

Although not an issue for us, the stairwell access (rather than a lift) to the rooms would be one thing that may be of concern for some guests, along with the low overhead clearance of the undercover parking.
Room was very clean & the king bed comfortable. Reception staff member was very friendly and helpful. The location of the Motor Inn was central to restaurants and bars, with the undercover parking was a bonus. Early checkout at 6am was made easy with a key box located on reception counter for drop off.
