It was incredibly hot weather for 2 nights with no facility to cool down the room except for opening a window-a fan would have really helped! The bed could also be updated. It rained heaving in a storm and the room leeked, water running down the wall behind the bed.

Fantastic location-close to the markets, parks, Chapel street and the Glaas Inc. For attending my workshop.

Know that it is a pub, that closes early ~11/12, but if you're wanting to get early nights and are a light sleeper, perhaps look elsewhere

Quite noisy as it's next to a busy pub. Hot shower is not good, it switches between hot and cold randomly all the time. No shampoo.

Good free wifi. Shared space with fridge, microwave, cuttlery, cups, water tap and sink. No stove or oven.

Noisy at night when the pub is open. The "kitchen" doesn't have a cooker, just a fridge and microwave. our flight was early, we arrived to Melbourne at 8 am and we had to wait until the pub was open, at 12pm to check in because no one was there.

The room was clean and perfect for two people. The situation is good, in a quiet suburb, but close to the city and also to St Kilda Beach.

Tea and coffee satchels provided in rooms but no milk or sugar or even cups either in rooms or shared kitchen to go with them. Plenty of towels provided but no hooks or rails in rooms to hang them on to dry or to hang clothes on even. Water tap in kitchen wasn't working so couldn't fill up jug there or wash dishes. Had to go to shared bathroom for water. The place is improving slowly but still a few minor but basic essentials would make a big difference.

Great location near train station, supermarket, high street shops and pubs in a quiet residential street. Very basic but clean and mostly very adequate and good value for money. Pub downstairs is lovely and lively but noise finishes relatively early enough to get a good night sleep still.

No ac, it was stiffling hot all night and day. The shared bathroom was a long walk away and over Saturday and Sunday right till Monday, it was NOT cleaned. Toilet paper was scattered over the floor of a toilet cubicle and didn't move one millimetre over those 2 days. Little things, like no soap holder in the shower , nowhere to put your belongings while you shower and missing tap handles kbought this old pub down.

Nice clean sheets. Clean and fresh towels. Good sized room. My favourite kind of flat super soft pillows. The staff bought me a table fan

Loved the location! Most of the staff were incredible (one or two made us feel like they just did not have the time or energy for us). Wish we had our own bathroom, but for the price?? Who cares!!

1. Check-in instructions are not clear at all so I have no idea who I should talk to for my check-in process. The pin-code I received was wrong. 2. Room wasn't clean. I found a sock under the window. 3. Kitchen is not clean either. 4. Facility was pretty limited (Consider its price, it's fine). The light didn't work in the small bathroom. 5. No chair in the room, very difficult to do anything other than sleep in the room. 6. Only few clothes hook on the door. No way to hang my coat. 7. Only 1 socket with an extension cord in the room. 8. Music was way too loud in the evening. Music kept going on until almost midnight. 9. WiFi connection was pretty poor. Make sure you have mobile data.

1. Location is good. Close to train station. Easy travel to other locations. 2. There are several restaurants and supermarkets around. 3. Tea, instant coffee and electric kettle were provided.

I had assumed, from the description on booking.com that the room had an ensuite. It didn't and the shared was clean but old

Restaurant and bar is theirs main business. While the staffs are really nice but not everyone is allowed to do the check-ins. I had to wait 20+ min for the person who can do check ins.
