Room was comfortable and quiet which was a pleasant surprise given its a night club until 3 am at weekends

The check in/reception desk was never staffed. We always had to wait for a staff member to track down a different staff member to help us. At one point, there were six of us waiting at the desk for assistance.

Amazing location. Ask for a room at the back and you won’t hear the DJ.

The aircon dried out my skin overnight, but the room was too warm not to use it during sleep.

The room decor was cute and quirky. It had everything I needed.

There was no staff on arrival no one started until 9:30 am. It would be. I’ve to drop your bags of like every other hotel. Nobody made up the roomtge entire time of my stay. There were no staff around. But when I did see someone they were friendly and very polite. For the price of the room there needs to be greater attention to the customers experience. And made the bed and clear towels.

The location was very nice, loved the aesthetic of the room, staff made it easy the find the rooms, fridge had mold in it which was kinda unfortunate But other than that the food was great and the vibe was nice, would come back.

No shower cap. Lamp dusty and not plugged in. Dreadful cheap scratchy toilet paper. Watress staff who completely ignore you as they walk past reception. Overpriced.

Check in and out was not clear. Contract signed did not match reported check out time. Reception not open in morning for check out and no clear instructions on what to do

Unfortunately the room wasn't clean and needed dusting. Bedside tables were full of things which could've been elsewhere in the room or just aren't necessary any more (I moved the phone to the floor to create enough space to charge a phone). There was no light in the shower so you had to rely on light from other rooms.

Good hotel, very loud at night (stayed on weekend) but that was known before and earplugs provided.

Unfortunately entire hotel section had no internet during my stay which the staff tried their best to manually check in guests etc. 4 out of 5 times they had to find the receptionist to help me or to store baggage. Reception desk was mostly unmanned. It was in a noisy busy area but honestly I did not have an issue sleeping. Ear plugs were provided but not needed.

Good location and great vibe as was on top of a local pub. I was upgraded to a nice room, plenty of space and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

No on-site parking. Paid parking was available a block away but turned out to be a pretty penny at the end of our stay.

Lovely old building. The interior complements the aged features of the building and was a welcomed escape from modern designs. The staff were exceptional and the location superb!

The advertised noise was more and went longer than expected - did it really have to be that loud?! No way suitable for dinner either. It would have been more bearable if the TV in the room was set up properly - only one channel available with pixelated interruptions to it - unwatchable - so not even able to distract from the relentless “rave/dance” beat.

Compact yet clean and attractive rooms, comfy bed and amenities, interesting decor with a nod to history, great Sydney location.

The doors to the lift/stairs close of an evening to keep the noise out. Great idea, but the doors look the same as the room doors and is a little disorientating if you aren’t aware and trying to leave.
