Check in process was disappointing, check in was 2pm we were required at Greenfield’s across the rd to attend a wedding at 3:30pm Our room was not ready we waited more than half an hour to finally be offered an upgrade. This was appreciated, although we were only staying one night and were rushed to get ready for our event.

There was a function on downstairs on the first night and the music vibrated through the walls and windows on the 8th floor keeping me awake.

The staff on night duty was so rude. We had to refill our water bottle, so we went to bar area and used the tap ( same place we got it refilled in the morning) we were not aware that we are not allowed to do that when staff is not in the bar area. A lady from the reception side came n spoke so rudely with us as if we were stealing something. They should mark the area as not to be used when unattended instead of mistreating guests

Couldn’t feel the aircon was a hot sleep.

Handy to the event that was held at the hotel for 4 days. Concierge, valet attendants and place where we had breakfast were amazing.

The room was old out dated, the air-conditioning was horrible I had to ask for a fan. The room and hotel were dirty and not vacumed.

Room service...ordered a coffee for 7.30am and 7.50 still hadn't received it, took my complaining to finally receive it. We had to be out of the room at 7.50 for a convention...never thought we'd encounter such a delay as it was pre ordered the evening prior Beds not comfortable but I prefer soft, they were really way too hard.

The room was very hot. The aircon was not working that well. The control for the aircon control was so out dated couldnt change the control's was sweating during the night i think the room, although clean, was not 5 star rating in my books.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great. Lots of different choices for all. i did also enjoy dinner at the bar, the Blat was amazing.

The room needed maintenance - the hand basin was cracked. The power outlets were loose to the point of pulling out of place when used which is more than an aesthetic, it was potentially dangerous. When I turned down the bed, the bottom sheet had old stains on it. One of the hand towels was ragged at one edge. All towels were harsh and scratchy to use. I didn't use the room capsule coffee machine as it didn't appear to have been cleaned, ever. And there were only 2 capsules provided, with no indication of what they contained in terms of strength or flavour.

Location is great - it is easy to find even as a total newcomer to Melbourne. Onsite parking was a boon. The public area was clean and airy and easy to navigate, once someone (a fellow guest) showed me how to operate the lift. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable.

No one answered the phone on Saturday since the morning. Left voicemail with a request for 2 pillows as we couldn’t use the large square one to sleep on. Only had one normal pillow each which was an awfully sleep. The mattress didn’t even have a joiner so couldn’t sleep in the middle or close to bed. We tried calling then through out the day since we got back for lunch on Saturday and throughout the day. Even at night. No one answered the phone or provided pillows. We ended up rolling up the bath robes and towels to provide ourselves more comfort to sleep. Definitely felt it through Saturday and Sunday not being able to have a good sleep for the convention.

The invoices for our group of 7 people (6 rooms) have never been issued to us. When checking out, the receptionist said that they would be sent to us by email later, but they haven't been received until today.

The breakfast is good. The location is excellent.
