The reception staff were not very polite being honest. The pool was closed which was annoying as the weather was really hot during our stay. The hotel took the deposit from the card I used when booking the room without me present and before I had checked in which is fine, but I would have preferred to use my credit card for this if they would have asked me when I arrived and checked in. Due to the refund being on my debit card, had to wait in reception when checking out so they could go and check the room in order to give me my deposit back, which again is fine and I understand these processes but the reception lady was quite rude in the process which wasn’t ideal.

The location was ideal for us for the purpose of getting the bus which left from the motel car park. Within walking distance of the shopping mall and has a bus stop right outside which takes you directly into Ottawa centre. The room was ok, quite small but had the basics and a fridge too which was handy. Provide garden chairs outside your room which was lovely to be able to sit with the weather being so nice. Laundry facilities were good. Breakfast was nice to have.

There was no screens on the windows, so bugs would get in if you left them open and the AC was a bit complicated to get working, so the room tended to get a bit hot if the weather was warner.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Roomnwas a good size, well made up, and a really nice layout. The breakfast continental breakfast was really good to start off the day. The location was also really good to walk or take a cab where you needed to go.

The blankets could have been white instead of brown. That will enhance the visual appeal.

The room was exactly similar to the photos listed. Neat and clean. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. Easy check-ins. Breakfast was also good. Overall, it is good value for the price they charge. Perfect for a budget, one-night stay.

Breakfast could include more varietes such as fried eggs, sausages... The bathroom is a little tight and shower water is not abundant.

The location is near the attractions in the center. The room was clean and provided with everything from clean towels to coffee and tea. The breakfast was really nice (open buffet) with different kinds of drinks and bread.

The “static” air in the rooms at entering. So, we turned the fan on in the bathroom and opened windows to circulate air a little bit. For us as a family of five, it was a little bit of surprise to get somehow far away one room from the other. This was because booking did not allow us to get a double queen bed room but two separate rooms. They could just have charged us for a breakfast for our nine years old daughter and let us book just one double queen bed room… Or, should I have skipped her from online booking? For us as Europeans, very annoying the style of water control at the shower. Too much water is lost by running only at constant high flow and not having a long hand shower but only overhead one limit choices you have… But probably is the “ancestral” and cheapest way, since in other properties we could find more convenient ways for this. Not such a big issue for a night but definitely I would not use it if I was to live in Canada or US.

It’s been our first authentic experience with a North American motel. Just ground level and separate entrance for each room (look on google maps to see)

Smoking directly outside the rooms. Bed was rock solid. Garbage backs not inserted correctly in bins, tried to push it down into position and then it just ripped. Hard water left my hair feeling unclean.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was quiet. Water pressure was good. I like that there was a fridge. Great price, free parking and wifi.

I am a bit disappointed with the environmental issue because we saw a note that they take measurements and they are helping in saving the environment but in reality there is no action on this because they do no do recycling and though I saved my used towels to use it on the next day they changed it...ok I totally understand to make us happy and proving us very clean environment in our room but when I see a note in the bathroom saying "let's save the world together" I did what I must do during my stay but actually the hotel do not do anything about saving the environment..I wanted to highlight this issue because the world is for All of us and we must work together to save and sustain it for the Future generations. The rest was all Good especially the people who were giving services..Thank to All people who gave us help and service during our stay
