Not very friendly staff…and also not eco friendly. (Threw away all the bottles of shampoo and shower gel from previous guests, other hostels usually would save those bottles in case the incoming guests need it.

The bunk bed is huge, and they offer breakfast which is very thoughtful.

The staff weren’t very welcoming, the breakfast lady was late so everyone was waiting for her to arrive which delayed plans for the day waiting. My room was on the top floor and the stairs were a bit steep to carry my heavy bags up. Unfortunate. There was a homeless encampment outside which I was a little worried about coming back at night but it was actually quiet and fine.

The bed was comfy and it was really close to the Rogers Centre for a Blue Jays game! The free breakfast was good once it came out and it was good that I could leave my bags when I checked out.

I stayed in a 4 bed first and then I moved to room 14 bed and there is a significant difference between mattresses, in the room with 14 beds the mattress is not very comfortable.

    Good breakfast and location.

The check in time is very late (3 pm) and the check out is at 11. There is no possibility of an earlier check in even if you have a flight that arrives super early. The staff could be more friendly, they rotate a lot and most of them were not very kind. There is a homeless camp in the square right in front of the building, we didn't have any problems with them or any odd situation but it is worth mentioning.

The location is great! You can go walking to CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Scotia Bank arena, Chinatown... there is also a metro station near by and it's close to Union Station. Breakfast has a good selection of basic itens and the kitchen has all the necessary utilities if you want to cook. It's a good money for value option. I booked a single room with a private bathroom and it was great for a short stay. It was a lot cheaper than most of the hotels in the same region, the room is small but has everything we needed, the AC worked well. We were able to leave our bags in the locker before and after check out.

During one night there were some people partying upstairs and they were very very loud!

The staff, the big bed, even If I was with 3 other people I had my privacy. The breakfast was included and it was good! :) the hostel was very close (5 min by foot) to the CN TOWER!

They took my credit card information including CVV, which is purely secret and personal without this they refused to check-in although I already paid my booking account.

Bathroom could be bigger and newer. But it functioned as intended - shower for showering, a sink and a toilet.

Location is just a 20 minute walk from Union Station Bus Terminal. The walk is through skyscraper neighborhood, I felt safe walking there around dawn. The hostel itself is across the street from a park where it looks like there is a homeless encampment? There were a few tents there in April 2024. Its existence never made me worry about my safety. Dormed beds are fine. Nice privacy curtains.

I did not like the extra charge due to late check-in. The bunk beds do not have charging stations on the top beds.

Great location in the city centre with easy access to the metro and street car, and other attractions. The breakfast was fine; just dry cereal, tea, coffee, fruit, and light snacks. Juice would have been nice.

They take your bank card details and keep for weeks, as a guarantee x any demage . It does not matter how long you stayed and when you left. They should check straight away at the time of check out and destroy the data. All those weeks I don't know who has access as the reception staff was changing every few hours. I was served by night security officer. Unbelievable .

Location, services, good WiFi. I stayed only one night. Recommended

The safes in the room were locked and not usable as far as instructions read. We had a short stay so we didn’t bother asking for help with same. The booking site said it had ironing facilities and we were banking on using them as we were coming straight from an airport and getting ready for a wedding. They informed us that they no longer have them and we used my hair straightening iron to the best of our abilities. We were in a more private room (which was kindly switched for us) but it was very hot on the highway level- we had to open our window and there was no screen on the window. It was worth the flies coming in to keep it open though. Small things- definitely affordable and would still recommend staying there for location, price, and kind staff. The lobby was clean, decorated nicely.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating :)
