The hosts were exceptional! A lot of communication before we arrived; recommendations for local restaurants and places of interest; inquiring about our interests and needs, etc. Once on the property, we were greeted warmly. Our room had a private entrance and en-suite full bathroom and outdoor table and chairs. No stairs required! We had amazing food at breakfast and dinner (optional). Virginie and William prepared dishes with special touches like homemade jams and honey; egg on request; entrees, plat and dessert using local ingredients, etc. Meals were served at their dining table with other guests. We had great conversations there! Virginie also took us to Aix en Provence for a museum exhibition and lunch and to a Domaine where her sister works where we got an opportunity to tour the winery and taste many of the wines. Superb!

I had a midday flight at CDG after arriving the previous night from another country/airline, so opted to stay close to the airport. This booking was helpful for making that work. The room is convenient and still one of the cheaper venues around the airport. I opted to pay for the shuttle pickup and dropoff back to CDG and the shuttle drivers were cheerful and helpful.

The hotel pricing is still extortionate - you'd be better paying for a place much closer to the airport for the quality of the room, it's not worth it to stay here to save some money. The rooms were fine but not well laid out. Be careful: my room had two single beds under a bunk bed, although I stayed alone, and I hit my head in the morning when sitting because the bunk is placed directly overhead (I'm only 160 cm, so taller people will have even bigger problems here). The bathroom had ants in the shower. Overall, it seemed very unwelcoming, although I get that it's just for the convenience of staying near the airport it's not a good value overall. The latest shuttle in the morning back to the airport left at 09:30, so you end up having to check out early (I guess this is intentional by the hotel so they can clean the room earlier). In a similar flight situation in the future, I would just stay at one of the CDG-adjacent options for a bit more money.

The hotel was centrally located but it was very hard to get to during the marathon as they closed all access across the siene. Keep that in mind for Olympics, it will be the same. Everything else was great. Staff is friendly and housekeeping was great, beds were comfy.

Pretty view of the ocean, historic ruins just above the hotel. Staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was good and plenty of it with a view of the ocean from the eating area.

Safe locked our stuff inside and staff helped to get it out. basic room. AC shut off during the night so had to open the windows. It's not as luxurious as the photos on the site. It is over 25 minutes away from the airport.

Needs updating in the rooms. New and larger towels as they were a bit old and discolored. Kettle in room would be appreciated. Glass cups instead of paper cups in bathroom would be nice. Could not use elevator to and from the first floor.
