We stayed in a 2 bed roomed pool view bungalow, the rooms we large with excellent air conditioning and large comfortable beds. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed as requested. Pool and beach towels supplied at reception. There are 2 nice pools, and a lovely restaurant with beach view. We hired scooters from reception which was easy and the scooters well maintained. Well maintained beach to the front of the property, the sand was white. The hotel had paddle boards free to use for guests.

The main pool was slightly cloudy with the children complaining the chlorine was stinging their eyes, Apart from the hotel restaurant (where the food was lovely) the area was quiet with minimal bars / restaurant to walk to.

THE PLACE Hostel & Pool Bar

I had my own room, it was simple but nice. Staff are great, food and beer is cheap. Staff will help you with anything you need. It has a great downstairs common area with the pool bar and tables, great for socializing, working or meeting new people. I would highly recommend to anyone but especially solo travellers. They have a board for tours where you put your name down and share the costs between the group. Very well catered for

Prime location near all of the bars and nightlife. Staff were very hospitable, offering advice on what fares to pay the Tuk Tuks and answering all of my silly tourist questions with honest and respectful answers. Oh and the location is also perfect for a morning run down the huge riverside walkway if you're that way inclined on your holiday.

The air conditioning in this room was extremely poor, this is simply due to the air conditioning unit being too small for what is a rather big space. Tried explaining this to the staff however they were convinced it was just a hot time of year... not the case, other hotels have cold rooms regardless of outside temperature. I had to make do with a pedestal fan but generally the poor AC made sleeping very difficult even at night time where it was still hot.

Great location, large clean rooms, the pool was really nice and the hotel had good facilities! The staff were super friendly, Phy in particular was very welcoming and went over and above to make sure we had a good stay. Highly recommend!

Family room with 2 large double beds, great location right by a small beach cove and within short walking distance of 2 larger beaches and small shoping / eating areas.

The room was in need of refurbishment with the roof leaking during a tropical storm. The Air conditioning was lacking in power however there was also a fan in the room which helped with the heat. Kettle and cups supplied in the room however no tea or coffee provided. Some building works ongoing during our stay which made the area feel a little dirty and not as picturesque as photos suggest. We only ate in the restaurant once and did not feel compelled to visit again.
