Washing machine in basement did not work correctly and this ended up being a real hassle because staff who tried to help didn’t really know what to do. We would have appreciated better lighting in the room -- it was fancy, and functional, but a good standing lamp would have been nice. We had an "executive suite" with a mini-kitchen and the cups for coffee/tea were quite small -- a mug or two would have been appreciated. Selection of TV channels could be better. App for newspapers was advertised on website but staff said they knew nothing about it.

The location is fantastic, our view was lovely (we asked for a view). Very quiet and clean. The building is beautiful inside and out. Comfy bed. Good shower pressure. Nice high-end toiletries and nice to have one free minibar (coffee, tea, drinks) to refresh yourself after travelling. Very friendly staff. All in all, a very good experience.

I hadn’t much time to watch tv, but the selection of tv stations was a bit random. 1 French news station, some English/ UK stations.

Lovely hotel/suites. I appreciated the spacious room and comfy bed. While I only stayed for 2 nights, the amenities like a complete kitchen, large dresser etc. allow for a longer stay. Breakfast was very good. I also enjoyed the architecture, lovingly restored pre-war building, one of the rare administrative buildings of the city to have survived the bombings. I had a room on the 3rd floor to a noisy street. But the window isolation was good and the room was quiet.

To be honest, though nice, I don’t think the breakfast was worth 28£. I was expecting a more varied selection for that amount.

I really enjoyed my short stay. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. They have L’occitane toiletries, which is a bonus. The mini bar was free. The location was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff rather unprofessional. Facility unfit for push chairs and wheel chairs. Many stairs to enter and exit the hotel. The staff at reception, with the exception of the porter/concierge, unwilling to help us with the push chair. We had to carry suitcases and push chair up and down the entrance stairs.

Food and bar are a bit pricey.

It was right in the center and very close to everything. I was pleasantly surprised with the nice glassware and bathroom utility in the room. Also very happy with the suite concept where you get a kitchen and a free round of minibar drinks.

The location was perfectly located near everything. The room was beautiful and quiet except for the outer door which slammed shut when our neighbors came and went, shaking the entire room. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the dinner we ate there one evening. The staff were top notch--extremely professional and hospitable, Everything one would expect for a hotel such as this.

The parking is a little tough, as you can only park in the park house or on-street parking. Would be great if Fraser Suites would be able to include parking somehow in the nearby parking garage.

Fraser Suites is a great place to stay in Hamburg! We stay there every time we are in Hamburg. We especially love the suites that are spacious and have kitchenettes.

Beautifully restored and decorated property, excellent service. Air conditioning was a welcome rare treat in the hot summer. Quiet, clean, nicely appointed rooms with very comfortable beds.

Very minor point, but I would have liked a lounge separate from the bar/restaurant. Wouldn’t stop me visiting again though. One other aspect, which may be down to the hotel or booking.com, not sure which as I am still trying to resolve it, was that the bill presented by the hotel exceeded the final amount quoted by booking.com which apparently included all taxes. The additional charges are local taxes, so not sure what’s going on there yet.

On the morning of check out, we had a knock on the door and it was the cleaning crew. Our check out was at 11am and yet they were knocking at 9:30 and we did not have the sign on the door to clean the room. It was a bit annoying because we thought we got the check out time wrong.

The property was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and had everything we needed like Airconditioning, iron and kitchen. The hotel also had a gym, laundry room, sauna and lots more. It was central and we could walk to all attractions or take the train. The staff were also very helpful.
