menus and wine a little limited. Further from town than I had anticipated, and further than the 1.3 miles that one website said.

Neighborhood was difficult to find German or international quinine. Plenty of bars and middle eastern type fast food but no good choice of restaurants. We regret that we decided to explore around instead of eating at the hotel.

neighborhood a bit too noisy and sometimes dirty. Breakfast could be more diversified (it was somewhere between continental breakfast and buffet table), I had impression I'm eating the same every day.

location with acceptable distance from city center, using tram just few mins. to Haupthanhoff. Hotel is clean, but infrastructure a bit oldstylish (remembering past times). We enjoed that climate. Rooms and corridors with plenty of paintings of famous artists creating original atmosphere. Optional covered parking place. Nice and polite staff.

The hotel is close to public transport and it is a lively neighborhood. Extremely clean rooms. Very friendly team. However the Internet connection was a disaster.

The pillows were a bit thin. Not located in the best area but not a worry to us.

Nice to stay in a non chain hotel with original artwork on the walls throughout. A warm welcome when we arrived, a large room and a deep bath with plenty of hot water. The style is not modern, but that adds to the hotel's authenticity. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice. We were surprised to see so many in the dining room as our room was so well soundproofed we heard nothing from anyone else. Travel in to Leipzig centre on the tram was quick and easy.

No kettles in the room, no coffee machine. This could be good in the room.

The location is really good, only 15 mins walk to city centre. The staff is really friendly and breakfast really good in German style.

I just passed by a staff member that probably was not in a good day... but it happens. I was amazingly suprised by the emergency plan of my room - it had nothing to do with the reality 😅

The room was not big but it was super comfy - the bed very confortable, the room very well iluminated. The bathroom was big, with a big mirror and a bathtub. The hotel was 12min by bike from the center Leipzig which is very pratical. Once I came out of schedule for breakfast and the lady from the staff let me eat anyway and brought me options - super nice! The room was super quiet... Great for sleep!

Lots of young and poor people hang out right outside the hotel smoking, even blocking the front doorway.

Close to the tram to the city center. Spacious shower. Breakfast was okay.

Liked the inside courtyard parking with lockable gates and restaurant there aswell, the street and the city were pretty restless, but this inside courtyard made your stay and restaurant peaceful. Food was good and rooms were clean.

they gave us a key of 1 room which was already given to another guests then they gave another room. ıt doesnt sound so safe. location of hotel looks also not so safe :(

We didn't expect to have a kitchen. Since there was one, a kettle would have been very helpful. Good to collect a pot of hot water from reception though.

Our first visit to Leipzig! The neighbourhood is a bit run down but has fantastic little bars in the evening and (for lovers of felafel and humous) wonderful options at brilliant prices. The staff are brilliant and really helpful. We arrived a little early and were treated to complementary drinks in the garden whilst the room was prepared. We booked a triple room; this turned out to be a massive suite with a huge bedroom, a very generous living room, a kitchen and a large, immaculate bathroom... definitely worth a few extra euros! Furnishing is dated but very comfortable and part of the unique personality of the hotel: an old and quirky building full of (diverse and some very good) artwork. We finished our stay with an exceptional buffet breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I've had in years, before a shortish walk into the stunning city centre.

The room I got was south-facing, so it got a lot of sun. It got too warm for me over the course of the day, and in particular during the night.

I loved the paintings that are strewn about, and the straight and nonsensical but friendly welcome by the staff.

A very comfortable hotel, full of Leipzig character and slightly old-fashioned charm. The walls are decorated with an impressive collection of paintings by notable local artists, which add to the sense of place. Our room was surprisingly spacious, with an airy bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is slightly out of the centre, which was ideal for our purposes, but a short and easy tram ride to the main attractions.

I had a clean room with everything i needed. Bed, table, shower, toilet, sink, closet, a door that could be locked from the inside, a window that opened to a beautiful view. I was there for Wave Gotik Treffen. I was in my room for sleep (i didnt sleep alot), showering and changing outfits. The one thing that saved me was the hotels breakfast. That was the cornerstone of my meals. I barely ate lunch and didnt eat dinner due to going from venue to venue and not wanting to ruin my lipstick :)
