I didn't like that someone knock to my door and open at 9h30am to know if I had already leave the room while the room have to be empty at noon.

Poor network connection. Even with my own cell phone data the room is was in didnt connect well. Was frustrating as was doing computer work from room. Talked to staff but didnt get much suggestions how to improve the connection. Hot water was way too hot. Kept burning my hands at sink despite being at middle and also in shower. Need to reduce hot water temperature.

I did not prefer using a self-checking machine because the touch screen was not working properly. There were some difficulties in the payment process when the hotel tried to charge my credit card. As a result, they cancelled my booking without any prior notification. When I arrived at the hotel, I was surprised to find out that there was no reception service available. I contacted the hotel's assistance for help, but unfortunately, they were quite rude and unhelpful. They refused to assist me in booking a new room or offering any alternatives. I had to browse through many different websites to find a room that was available, and I ended up making a new booking.

The ventilation was very loud and prevented me from getting a good night’s sleep. The are no hairdryers in the room, but they are available upon request at the reception.

The hotel is located close to the main train station and to the old city center. The location is easy to reach and surroundings fairly quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very small and uncomfortable room, the shelves near the bed were in the form of a lattice (horror!), washbasin was placed in the room. Breakfast is more like a breakfast in a cheap hostel than a hotel. In fact, I paid more than 80 euros - not so cheap!

The rooms were quite dirty to be honest and for our three night stay, the room wasn’t cleaned neither were the beddings changed

- The check in service was horribly slow, even after booking in advance online. I had to wait 3 customers ahead of me. Took 15 minutes to get each checked in. - I wrote in advance that I wanted to get my receipt under my company's name but reception failed to do that. So I had to wait another 10 minutes just to get it redone. - Booking.com already charged me, but upon checking in the reception charged me again. If I had not checked credit card 2 weeks later, I would have not noticed it.

The price is reasonable for a budget stay.

I had to ask on two occasions for service for towels. Clean towels were removed from my room and not replaced. My room was not made the day before I departed. I raised this with reception, but nothing was done about it.

Easy access to train station, making traveling very easy. Breakfast was plain and simple and more than sufficient to start the day. Very friendly team in the dining room, venue clean and welcoming.

The Ibis Budget standard room concept is an insult to confort and a first step to developing claustrophobia. Only choice left if everything else is fully booked and the other choice is sleeping on the street and you don't want to... Otherwise, it makes no sense to choose such hotel. The hotel's central climatization was broken (estimation: 1 week for repairs)... And it was not possible to open the window... So, overall a night with great disconfort due to the heat accumulated in the room during the day.

Rooms need renovation. I like Ibis hotels, because wherever you are, you always know what to expect. But this hotel suffers of improper maintenance: exhaust in the shower was broken and produced ugly noise all the time, the shower head was leaky from all sides but not spraying where it should, the hanger on the wall did not hold the nozzle straight. The room was dirty, all surfaces were full of dust...

The location is good. It is the city center. The public transport stop is just near the hotel so that you can reach any place in Ulm.

We were two adults and a child. Even if there were three beds, we had only had pillows, blankets and towels only for two persons, and the receptionist was not very helpful with this. We had to find somebody from the cleaning staff to get what was necessary. Also there was a heavy cigar smell in the bathroom.

The hotel is in a very good location, parking available, easy to reach.

Gigarette smell in room, though whole hotel was smoke-free. The room could have been cleaner.

Didn't expect too, didn't get much. Still good value for money. location was good (and peaceful enough). Garage parking is big plus in this area, as non-resident street parking is very limited.

The shower didn’t have a wall around it felt like some sort of a box. The water would go through the glass door and soak the floor.
