The beds are ok, except for the fact that they are two single beds combined together to make one double bed. Shower head was broken, so a bit unconmfortable to shower.

Great location, easy check in and access to rooms. communication is easy, the staff replies quickly.

Our code stopped working on one of the bedrooms at 10.26am - even though we could stay through till 11am. Luckily we had already packed everything up and had cleared out of the room.

This is now the second time that we have stayed at McDreams Leipzig. For us the location is excellent - no. 3 tram is right out the front. Tonnes of bakeries and grocery shops in the area. We didn't use the covered carparking instead we found street parking which is plentiful. Previously we had a 'two bedroom' room so we could be all together as a family. This time around we had two separate rooms (not as convenient - but we knew this was the only option) at least they were right next door to one another. Beds were fine. Loved the mural on the wall - could read interesting facts about Leipzig.

The codeless entry is a little sensitive sometimes, and if you don't know that you have to go to the 4th floor for some of the rooms you might get a little frustrated

I have stayed here many times, and it is a good and functional hotel if you want to stay in this part of Leipzig. You can get good deals sometimes, and then it is worth booking - but recently prices have been higher. For around 50 euros per night or less it is worth it. As the breakfast is in the bakery next door I do not see the need to book that

The use of door codes seemed unnecessary and a nuisance where a standard key card would've been much more convenient. We had trouble using the self check in machine due to multiple bookings under one name and struggled to find the reception (which was close but not signposted)

The room we stayed in was a beautiful, large top floor corner room. It gave us beautiful views of the rooftops and sunset at night. Beds were very comfortable too.

Electronical check in is not the most practical, but it works (our code didn’t work, but the manager picked up the phone after 00.00h and opens our door).

Good parking (closes at 22h) also plenty of parking near the hotel. It’s a perfect easy to stop and sleep. Not the most romantic place, rather a practical, very clean, but good beds (also important).

Self service check in would have been fine but the paper had jammed so could not get the password and room number for the door combination. We could have been stuck outside. Disappointed there was no tea making facilities but not essential as cafe next door. Hotel was a 10min tram journey from outside the front door to town which is no problem except there was a strike on one day we were there. That is no fault of the hotel.

It was all that we needed for our purpose. Clean room with nice bathroom and shower.

The bathroom wasn't that clean. The washing shampoo was empty. I asked support why I can't select my country when doing online check-in and they didn't answer. I arrived at 1am, if I hadn't used an alternate phone number I wouldn't get my room password per sms and would have risked sleeping outside in the cold.

The online check-in was perfect if you arrive late at night. The beds were pretty comfortable. The location is nice since you can take the tram directly to the city centre. The heating was better than I've seen in other hotels, so it was comfortable during winter. They also have a check-in machine directly at the entrance.
