How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There wasn't anything, really. The towels smelled a bit when you used them, they probably couldn't dry in the dryer machine but that's it, it was a minor inconvenience.
Host and staff were very nice and helpful, acted right away if anything happened. The kitchen always had something free in it for us which is such a nice touch, made me feel right at home and cared for. The place is also close to U-Bahns and buses so you can be in the centre in 15-20 minutes AND have a good night's sleep because the neighbourhood is quiet. Perfect for the price, my best stay in Berlin so far.

Very nice hostel with little rooms, comfortable bed, linens and towel are included. Far from all the main sightseeings, Ubahn in 15 minutes of walking. Not many bars or restaurants nearby. Big kitchen where u can't cook, but can eat and have tea/coffee 24/7: there are always bread and cream cheese, some rolls, pastries. Normal for short stays, just to sleep and have little breakfast before city exploring 😀

The neighborhood is a nice area, but you can hear the karaoke even if the windows are closed.
The accommodation offers free bikes - very basic ones, but I find it really useful to commute to central Berlin (around 15mins). The staff is lovely and the roommates I've met are nice too. Will recommend this place to others!

There is only one washroom for all rooms so it takes time to shower
Everything was perfect with plenty of food though I was not hungry so I didn’t eat but the refrigerator was full of food and unlimited food for free

Although I am not really picky with my bed usually, the pillows were too hard even for me. Also the mixed room is right beside the kitchen so in the morning there is usually noise that could wake you up, but these stuff are really small downsides considering the price.
It is a three-floor small but very cute pension, with clean bathrooms and rooms. It feels secure as you have locks in your door and also you get a small cabinet with a lock so you feel safe storing your baggage during the night and when you are away. It is a cozy place and the fact that you have to take off your shoes are a big plus for cleanliness. Also, there are free snack and tee in the kitchen so you can easily have a small breakfast.

It’s a bit far from the city center and the area isn’t the nicest.
The lady who runs the hostel is very sweet and brought new snacks every day that we could eat for free. The hostel is small but very cozy and everything is clean. It’s also a great place to socialize and I met many nice people there.

Very nice familiar atmosphere and regularly cleaned shower/bathroom. Hostel is providing you a fresh towel which seems to have become rare for whatever reason... Thanks for providing essential products for travellers!

Very well maintained house with very clean bedroom and comfy beds. Our room was a double and set up with covers and an extra blanket it needed, with a charger and towels with a little treat for us! The kitchen had everything you needed and the wonderful host Nelly offered free tea and snacks for all guests. Really easy check in with the gate code and door code sent over the day of arrival. No issues at all and it was great to meet some other travellers!

Amazing experience with this hotel ,All sheets is clean, fresh smell of towels and soap🥰🥰Great price and cute little sweets like cookies ,tea, coffee and little breakfast on the weekdays. I truly recommend this lovely space to everyone. And one more important thing-even if restaurant so close to hotel- anyway inside the hotel very quite. Can't wait to be there again!!!
