We like getting up late, but there is a church next to the house and the ring bells at 8 a.m. :)

As a location maybe a little noisy at night for non- city dwellers.

Pati was a charming & attentive host. The dinner was excellent, & the breakfasts varied & plentiful. The immediate surrounding area is full of bars, restaurants & interesting independent shops.

You can hear the restaurant next door late into the evening. However, that didn’t interrupt sleep. I think Sarrià has a lot of drainage problems as the room smelt like bad drains when the toilet was left open or the shower door was left open.

Casa Filomena is in a really lovely area. There is a sense of community with the local bakeries and food options.. a little quiet haven away from the bustle of Barcelona. The kitchen was an added bonus to use for making breakfast and evening food if you want to save money. The rooms are light, spacious and equipped with everything you need

We loved staying at Casa Filomena! The accommodations were super stylish and the food -- we arranged with the host to have a dinner and two breakfasts at the Inn -- was just superb. Pati, who owns & runs the place, is exceedingly kind, informative, cheerful, and helpful! We were hoping for a stay that would be more personable -- and less generic -- than a big-box hotel, and Casa Filomena fit the bill perfectly. The area is filled with lovely shops and restaurants and cafes and with easy access to Barcelona's wonderful Metro system, we had no trouble navigating the city by foot, by bus, and by subway. It was an ideal stay -- and we'll be back.

Pati was the kindest, loveliest host with excellent advice and suggestions for places to visit. The breakfasts were exquisite! The decor and building ambience was beautiful. The location was lovely and felt like a community, while easy to catch the underground train to the city. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Such a charming place. Very nice neighborhood with lot’s of small shops and restaurants close by. A smell of fresh bakery… church bells and cosy room. Lot’s of attention to little details. We felt like being at home :) And the loveliest hostess who welcomed and helped us with every question we had❤️

The only thing that we could fault was that it was a bit noisy because there are two restaurants next to the building. But it was not too bad and ear plugs were provided.

We were greeted on arrival and departure by very friendly hosts. We loved the area, the little veranda, the access to filtered water and the feel of the property. It was also very clean and we had all of the necessary amenities.

Amazing location in the heart of Sarria. Waking up with the smell of fresh bread from the bakery across the street and the church bell sounds were the highlights of our stay. Casa Filomena is situated 15-20 min from Barcelona’s downtown (by public transportation). I enjoyed this location because it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Also, Pati is a great host and will make you feel most welcome at her boutique hotel❤️❤️❤️ Many thanks!🫶

For the first time , I like all !

Casa Filomena is just perfect, beautiful, charm, extreme clean , the host is one of the best I ever met , friendly, helpful , she has a great place. The neighbor is very cozy, and is 25 min aprox from plaza cataluyna , and two blocks from the property is the train. Highly , highly recommend it!

The location of the property was amazing with everything pretty much at the doorstep. Close to public transport too. very pretty neighbourhood to walk around and enjoy food at the many bars nearby.

Sound isolation could be better. You can easily hear people talking on the street. The room description is a little bit misleading because there is no kitchen zone or terrace in the room, only shared ones. Also, house rules do not allow you to eat or drink in the room. You can eat or drink only in the shared with other guests areas.

Nice and clean room, good location. Patricia (the host) was very nice and helpful.
