Good spot for motorcycle touring of Pyrenees. Owner helpful and friendly. Short walk up steep hill to village centre for evening meal / drink. Well managed and clean with communal kitchen area with access to making hot drinks / cold drinks.

We found the room a little cold at night and the heating didn’t come on.

It was a lovely rural location with a big garden for the dog to run about in. The owner of the property was very helpful and friendly. Great Breakfast in the morning, a fridge where you could keep food and facilities for making a tea or coffee.

We loved the location, the closeness to nature, the friendly and open owner, the parking option. The house is easy to find, the apartments are spacious, well equipped with furniture, heating, the house has a big common kitchen with all things you may need, and a dining area. We did not order breakfast but saw it, yummmi, looked very delicious and rich. Everything is spotlessly clean and eco-friendly, your room is done daily. Perfect location to make excursions as the Geological Heritage Sites and great beaches are nearby around Zumaia. Definitely a place to recommend.

highly recommend this place. Surround by the large land with trees and animals. The house is very well set up as a good hotel room, and with 3 share spaces. Worth staying couple days.

there was a cat roaming around trying to get at our food when we ate outside and a rooster that woke us up early in the morning, but this is expected for a farm like setting

That we had to leave so soon.

This is a very well run and well appointed facility. Clean, good size and the Host is just lovely. It was such a pleasure to get away from it all, whilst still being within striking distance of some excellent spots.

The rooms can be a little noisy if you get people with kids or who just like moving around and talking loudly till 1am. Some people just need to respect everyone else.

Fantastic location and the owner also owns the restaurant in town she is very friendly and happy to answer questions. My Spanish is non existent but my parter was able to understand. The garden is amazing if you want a walk around. The breakfast was great and set us up well for the day. There is also a communal kitchen area and washing machine that can be used. We went cycling each day its an ideal spot for getting into the all the main areas as the TDF was in town. Don’t always trust your routing software lots of roads that suddenly are no longer roads!

Amaya, the host was friendly and very helpful. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful gardens with many animals. Lovely for children. Quiet location. Great sleep! It has a communal kitchen where it is possible to prepare and store all your food.

We had to drive to Zumaia to find supper one night.

The casa rural was great, the accommodations were all excellent, the setting exemplified the benefits of living in the country, the garden, the orchard, the small farm animals. The casa had generous communal space in addition to the large bedroom and bath, there was a nice sitting room, terrace and back porch. Parking was easy. The closest large town, Zumaia was very nice, with restaurants, gas, marina, playa, and walking or biking trails. We spent 2 nights and think we should have planned to stay longer.
