The room was beautiful but had no drawers just a box for your clothes. Also no full length hanging space. You could not watch tv from where the sofa was placed

Room we booked (superior) is on the smaller side - something to keep in mind. We would appreciate more hangers in the restroom and room itself but that’s only if I’m being picky.

One of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. La Fonda exceeded our expectations by far. Location is amazing in the heart of old town, countless bars, cafes, restaurants in literally 1 minute away and at the same time at the quieter square. Breakfast was simply great. All products are organic and top quality. Staff is ideal mixture of attentive and relaxed which we really appreciated. Special thanks to breakfast waiter who did his job incredibly well. We felt like at home away from home. I wish there was La Fonda like hotel in every destination we travel to. Vibe of the hotel and level of attention to detail is amazing. Highly recommend.

We knew we were getting a small room, however a few hooks to hang towels, redistributed coffee, safe area to allow for proper hanging space would be good. The outdoor patio could use a little greenery .

We loved the property, beautiful… location, location, location was excellent! Service impeccable, food was really good, and the Jane restaurant excellent, with live music- perfect way to end our vacation.

One small thing. I am a very light sleeper. Because of the design of the hotel anyone speaking loudly in the reception area/foyer can be heard. On the Thursday evening a few people talked loudly till around 11.45pm. I think after 11pm they could politely be reminded to keep their voices down. Other than that everything was excellent.

Standard room was a bit too small to accommodate two suitcases. Apart from that there was really nothing missing.

Beautifully decorated hotel in the middle of the charming old town of Marbella. Wonderful and delicious both cooked and buffet breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed one night with live music and an extremely good singer and very exceptional creative cocktails. Would definitely come back.

Next time we stay at La Fonda we will book larger room as our bathroom too small with little space. Although we did not eat in restaurant at night ( same area used for breakfast ) we would have if Old Church restaurant was open but understand this would be due to time of year.

Breakfast exceptional and plenty choice all cooked to perfection. We are regular visitors to Marbella but never stayed in Old Town area but loved it

Nothing, really. Just a tiny suggestion: the bathroom could do with some additional hooks for clothes or towels. And the entry area to the room maybe with a place to hang a coat or a jacket.

Awesome staff, welcoming from the very first minute. Superb hospitality from reception to housekeeping and the breakfast team. Our room was a Maisonette (tower room) with direct access to the roof terrace. Maybe not for anyone due to some steep stairs, but for us this room was great: lots of privacy, light, views over the city roofs. Breakfast was nice and made even nicer by the cheerful team. All in all: this is the way a hotel should be. A friendly space for guests to feel at home away from home. We will be back!
