Could have had a better menu selection

The view was incredible and the staff were excellent, especially Vanessa Riyad and Pedro. They gave us great recommendations and directions to the city. I liked that there was a bus directly across the street.

The negative was the shower, which didn't work in relation to the controls.

Great location for our visit to The Alhambra and our room, the Junior Suite, was excellent. It had a super balcony with 180° view across Granada, with the snow on the Sierra Nevada to our left and the setting sun to our right. We had a lounge and very comfortable bed and several relaxation chairs. Very helpful staff member at reception.

Only down side was that the drainage down pipe (although sealed off) was through the room we were staying so could hear anytime and every time anyone used the facilities. But it is an older building so maybe to be expected. Parking is pretty much on the road, but not really a problem as this was clearly explained before hand, and again nestled into the hillside so not busy like on a main road.

Hotel is very ideal for viewing across Granada, stunning views! Room and terrace both very good size and all was clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast options are good without being overcharged, which is a welcome suprise! Nice touch to serve beer in pre-chilled glasses, thank you! Close proximity to Alhambra and ideal walking and viewing opportunities across Granada.

The claim of a 10 minute walk to the centre is a little exaggerated - it's more like 15. There are steep hills down and then back up again so depending on fitness and any physical impairments you may need to rely on taxis.

Fantastic views - away from the hustle and bustle of the centre while still being accessible.

No fridge or water in room but not an issue as you could buy water from the bar. Breakfast not available before 8am so organise your own if visiting Alhambra early.

Lovely and clean. Good location, 15 minutes walk to Alhambra and 20 to the centre. Junior suite - room 302 - was very spacious and comfortable with two terraces and views over Granada. A sofa bed meant you could have 4 sleep in the suite.

Would be a challenging location if you have mobility issues. However we learnt that you can get the C35 bus just outside. This takes you in and out of the city centre until 10pm.

We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and found it a little expensive as the meal came with little or no sides (they were extra) which is something we hadn’t found elsewhere.

Magnificent views from our private terrace over Granada. A ten minute walk to the Alhambra. Roadside parking available.

Very limited dinner menu and a bit pricey for what you got. It is a climb to get back to from the city but cabs are cheap and a bus runs in front of the hotel.

Fantastic view of the city. Nice location away from the crowds. Very nice breakfast included - modified continental. Very friendly staff.

If there was tea or coffee making facilities in the room

This is a classic boutique hotel - why it is on some sites only one star is a joke.It is located out of town fairly near the Alhambra -very very hilly to get to anywhere from the hotel but bus service C35 stops outside the hotel and is a circular route so you will always end up back at your residence. The staff were great very helpful and courteous.Breakfast was fine and very continental. The art work on the walls was superb. Our room was superb as we booked a junior suite [room 302] it was spacious with 2 sun trap balconies and great views over the city-the only problem was the weather which not very nice at all.

Not the fault of the hotel but the area is hilly and roads are narrow, so parking is a problem if you are in your own / rental car.

The street view, area and entrance to the hotel did not prepare us for the wonderful view from the view point and the room! The balcony was huge and had comfortable seating for a sundowner. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was generous and tasty!

a family hotel close to the center of granada, easy walk to the centro and the wonderful carmen garden. the hotel has a familar atmosphere, everybody working is very friendly and does an excellent job for their visitors. the view from the hotel room at night is a extraordinary spectacle, we enjoyed that much. important: parking the car round the hotel was not a problem only a little walk up the street possible. thanxx to the staff eberhard and monika
