The location was perfect for our needs.Access to transportation was outside the front door. I could walk to attractions and restaurants.

Loved Hotel Regina! The location could not be better for walking all over Madrid and to the major sights. The hotel is small and welcoming. All of the staff were professional, kind, and very helpful. Especially Gonzalo who actually ran outside to find our Uber driver on a very busy morning and Mihal who always greeted us with warmth. We stayed in both a room at the back (very quiet) and later in the trip, one at the front with a view (not so quiet). Both rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent and the perfect way to start the day. The rooftop is spectacular and a must enjoy…we didn’t go up until our last morning but we surely will on our next visit!! Having a great restaurant and bar inside the hotel was a plus. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

The Extra bed is soft and not very comfortable, rooms too close to each other .

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Madrid. We liked everything about the hotel the room and bed was extremely comfortable We had a balcony and it was very private where can you have a shower outdoors in a big city :) Will return

The reception area gets very noisy due to the ground floor restaurant/bar that is open to public.

This was the perfect stay! It was a nice and modern hotel in the perfect location to everything in central Madrid. Everything is within walking distance, but also very easy to get an Uber or taxi. The best part of the room was the “morning” and “night” buttons which closed the curtains and shut off the lights at night, and vice versa for the morning. Apart from the hotel itself, the staff is AMAZING. I wish I knew all of their names to give them a personal shoutout. But Jorge was very kind and helpful. I had to catch a car at 4am for my flight and Jorge and his colleague made me a to-go bag with a sandwich, juice, water, an apple, a cup of yogurt, and some desserts. They offered this after I realized there were no food places open before my flight, which I thought was extremely nice! Jorge also carried my bags outside for me and put them into the car. All the other staff were amazing, welcoming, and very friendly. They were also helpful with any questions I had. I felt very safe as a woman travelling alone.

The window was in the corner of the room, facing the patio, which did not allowed me to fully enjoy the view and sunlight. The door of the toilet/bathroom did not close completely, which I thought would be a concern if more than two people were staying there.

Super generous staff. They helped me get to the airport on the day of traffic control by suggesting alternative routes. Also breakfast and staff there were the best I have ever had.

The hotel is centrally located. Our room while small as most in Europe are was clean, beautifully decorated with all the amenities. Bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choices to satisfy every palate. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Fatima checked us in and eventhough we arrived early morning she had a room for us. We also enjoyed the breakfast after flying for 7+ hrs. Upon leaving one of the gentlemen at the desk helped us with our luggage to a taxi which was about 2-3 blocks away. It was very kind of him. If you want to stay in Sol, this is a great choice.

Minor details: Standard pillows were not good, although you do have the option to change them we got unfortunately used to them. I think the instructions to not change your towels daily are the other way around, if you leave them within the shower I think they are changed, instead of leaving them in the bathroom but hanging outside the shower

Excellent location, very close to the main tourist attractions and important subway stations like Sol. Somewhat walking distance to Atocha station, 10 minute walk to the main art museums, several restaurants around including those in Barrio de Las Letras, Gran Via and parts of Chueca and Malasaña. Staff was extremely supportive, they booked us a cab before a demonstration would take place in central Madrid. Great breakfast, very good ingredients overall. Room was spacious and shower was excellent, I'm 1,95 tall and have wide shoulders, I didn't have any problem with space in the showers. Universal plugs are built-in, meaning you probably don't need a plug adapter. Sound-proofed windows, although you could hear a little noise from the street on Fridays and Saturdays.

Perfect breakfast. Brilliant staff. Only bolleria missing. (Last visit to Madrid was 60 years ago. ) excellent cleaning by room staff. Could not be more helpful. Breakfast staff sang happy birthday to help me celebrate with surprise cake. Front of house fantastic.

Breakfast area gets busy, staff seems a little overwhelmed, probably could use a bit more help, making coffees, etc.

Liked the second floor room looking out to the street with plenty of light. The double doors seal off any unwanted street noise.
