Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe breakfast is a little pricy, but the quality is good.
Loved the room. Great facilities and warm and helpful staff. Recieved a personalised welcome card which was a very nice touch after a 600km drive. Bonus points for laundry.

United KingdomHad something to eat one evening and was very disappointed in the food we received. Also, vegan was not an option, yet the menu said it was
The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Good location for buses to old town.

United KingdomIt's quite far from the centre, about 25-30min away. However, the walk is easy and pleasant. The quality and variety of the breakfast is good but it's not very well managed and a bit hectic.
Spacious and comfortable room, great facilities, amazing gym, friendly vibes and lovely pool terrace area.

United KingdomNothing really, just that we were in 6053, and it was right next to the building site next door. Not too bad though. Progress is important for area.
The hotel is fully functional, and staff were lovely. Rooms great, and breakfast well presented. Perfect location outside of city, but served by good bus route into middle of town. Aim for Boulevard.

United KingdomCleaner went through our stuff. As much as it’s annoying the actions of one poorly Behaved individual shouldn’t take away from the masses at the hotel!
Staff all couldn’t help enough, nothing was ever too much. They’re great!

GermanyThe modern style may not be for everyone and this hotel is clearly used for hosting workshops, meaning everything is locked up to ensure that non-guests don't use the facilities. It can be mildly tedious. The city centre is about a 10 min bus ride or 25 minute walk (it's along the river and very nice).
A very modern hotel, attracting a younger business-y focused crowd in a part of San Sebastian that's somewhat but not too far away from the main attractions of the city. The Social Hub has good facilities: a rooftop bar and pool, a gym, laundry rooms, a communal kitchen, restaurant and more which can make a slightly longer stay, or a stay for work, more pleasant. Parking is available on-site for the somewhat high fee of 20 EUR/day, but if you find parking on one of the nearby streets (of which there is plenty) it's much cheaper at ~4 EUR/day. If you're arriving late, you may have little choice, but you will definitely find something if you have time to move the car on the next day. The rooms themselves are large, very clean and comfortable and come with a number of random of freebies, including a carton of water, tea and coffee, condoms and a local (to Spain at least) cake. Bathrooms were spotless. Staff very friendly and can give you advice about the area and city. There is everything you need nearby, including supermarkets, bars, restaurants and pharmacies. Overall, very good stay.

GermanyDespite the good intentions, in the end technology failed (the laundry service via a buggy app kept us waiting in vain). The walls are rather thin, as we heard everything from the corridor
It was modern, young and all. The staff was amazingly friendly!

United KingdomThe location was fine for us, but may be too far from the centre for some. It's ~20 minutes walk, or a 10 minute bus ride. The bus stop is 5 mins from the hotel. The room got very hot during the day and had little privacy as it has a large window that faces other apartments. There was a curtain but as it was a black-out, it meant we had a choice between total darkness or no privacy. A second sheer curtain for privacy and to control glare & heat would be appreciated in addition to the black out curtains.
Very nice hotel with generous room sizes, comfortable beds and lots of convenient facilities. Restaurant/cafe on site, as well as gym and workspaces etc. The pool seems like it would be nice for warmer months! Staff were friendly. Recommended.

United KingdomPool area needs some parasols - I assume they’ve just not arrived yet. Will be nice with a pool bar open too.
Brand new, lovely pool. Gym open but still having work done - will be a great hotel gym. Good value for a gym with a pool in San Sebastian

FranceI did not not like anything but there is no way of check-in early even a bit, and if you have a car it’s a struggle to find a parking spot nearby (we struggled for nearly twenty minutes)
The bedroom was great, really spacious, the bed and pillows were amazingly comfy, the products in the bathroom were amazing and you literally have everything you need (conditioner, body cream, hairdryer). The gym is perfect, so is the rooftop with the beautiful swimming pool. Breakfast was a bit pricy but really really good.

United KingdomYou cannot turn the aircon down below 22 degrees which we found uncomfortably warm preferring 20 degrees usually. We were told it was Spanish Law which I doubted. Breakfast is quite good but the hot food, scrambled egg, hash browns and bacon were barely warm not hot. All the plates were cold so they took away the remaining heat. I am unsure about the safety of keeping food warm, I certainly prefer hot food.
The location is a 30 minute walk into the old town or port. An easy bus journey costing about 1.70 euros per journey or about 12/14 euros in a cab. A fantastic garage, very clean and secure next to the Hub but 20 euros a night. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful.

AustraliaI can't really fault anything.
The room was excellent and the chocolate and soda cans was a very nice touch. The room was clean and the body wash and lotion were excellent. Laura was so friendly as well as the one who checked us in. We had some issues but she and the team straight away fixed it and offered us perks that we were very pleased with. The location is not in the city centre however you can get a 24hour bus ticket and take the buses back and forth from the hotel and the buses are super convenient. There is a great restaurant at the hotel and the staff are so friendly! You can even do your laundry for free!
