Let me be clear, I really liked this place & I only use this "what didn't you like?" area only to make suggestions to the establishment. My suggestion....The pillows could be upgraded.

Great communal type accomodations in a super convenient location. Great kitchy vibe in the place. You are within walking distance to just about everything. Communal kitchen that is well stocked with more then just the basics. Both indoor & outdoor lounge areas. The rooms are roomy enough with good storage for your belongings. The beds were comfortable. Andrea & Katya could not have been more friendly & super informative of the area & local hot spots. Great energy in those 2!

The kitchen area was a bit small - but it didn't spoil the stay.

This is excellent budget accommodation - with ensuite room and access to a kitchen. There is outdoor seating and some rooms have their own designated space outside the door. There is a well-equipped kitchen, which is very small so I think it would be quite crowded if everyone wanted to cook at the same time. I think it might be noisy in the summer, but we found that it was quiet. We are at the older end of the age-group who might use zoorooms (late 60s) but was didn't feel too p;d and I hope the younger people staying there didn't find us too old! The staff are awesome - really helpful and welcoming. There are lots of small shops nearby to buy food. There is designated space in the fridge and cupboards for each room.

The light in the room was poor and the big door that opened directly into the terasse did not help as we could not keep the drapes open. I do appreciate an intimate light but I also want to have the option to actually see something in the room. Other than that, all great really.

Really nothing comes to my mind

Location was great, we walked everywhere on foot. There were nice restaurants and shops close to the place so we were able to buy some fresh food, make breakfast in the kitchen and eat it on the terrace. Great staff that was so nice to take into consideration that we came before the checkin hours and cleaned the room earlier so we could use it right away. We had a room with the exit to the tarrace, away from the street so it was quite. I really recommend if you prefer a place with character rather then the regular hotel.

We have a fruitful week in Barcelona, because the accommodation is in a very good location and safe area. Andrea was very friendly and very nicely, he enthusiastic to telling our about the restaurant and attractions 's information. The room is very cute and comfortable, also have private bathroom, We really recommend this place!

Hallway conversations could be heard later in the night. Thankfully those didn’t last long and the other guests were very respectful and considerate.

Room was cozy size, clean and well lit with A/C and heat. The best part is the terrace that enabled eating/drinking outdoors, entertaining friends. A full Kitchen was helpful too for packing lunches and snacks. Mostly we appreciated our host, Andrea, who gave insightful recommendations that made Barcelona feel less like a tourist trap and more local.

We spent a a beautiful week in Barcelona. The accommodation is in a very good location and we felt very safe here. Andrea was very friendly and nice and gave us a map with explanations and recommendations. The room is very nicely furnished with interesting paintings, the big advantage is the private bathroom and the shared kitchen for food preparation. We felt very homely and would love to return.

Just to consider: - The bathroom could get a deeper cleaning. - Soap dispenser could be improved for easier use when showering.

He does everything with his heart and what an awesome personality =) super helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming and gave us an incredible overview of Barcelona with a map as soon as we arrived. - check-in: also organized with Andrea, that was very flexible with my arrival plans considering I was coming from a roadtrip nearby. - location: couldn't be better, the neighborhood feels safe different than other areas from Barcelona, supermarket in the corner, walking distance to Sagrada Familia and so many attractions (Casa Batlo is only 800m), easy access to public transport. - AC: I don't remember using it. - shower: good shower. - kitchen: well equiped kitchen and good organization for storage of each room. - outside area: the outside area is wonderful, and some rooms (as #3) have direct access to it, including a little private space (which is the part advertised as "terrace").

Perhaps a comfy chair in the bedroom?

Andre was so helpful and friendly. His restaurant recommendations were tremendous, especially La Flauta close by. It was easy to get to public transport options but we enjoyed walking a lot ! The room was small but super clean. Check out Petitbo across the street to eat. :)
