We spent 150£ on a last minute stay in central london so was not expecting the ritz. When we got back to our room we found it to be a room. Looked like a bit of a hospital ward but it cant complain. Slept well.

The staff were lovely, super inviting and generally pleasing to talk.

The other rooms on the same floor were frieds or something...charging back and forwards to 3 or 4am. Yelling like twits. So ridiculous to run a bnb this way. We just wanted a clean safe room, No joke it was reall unacceptable...and we travel, not expecting anything fancy, but the screaming and running around like little kids...Zero as a recommendation, and I don't ever give that.

Mould in the shower room. Place need some upgrading/maintenance (Masking tape on the tap in the bathroom). We could hear the reception talking loudly and had a TV on most of the night.

Poor state of repair with water leaks, toilet bowl not clean, shower wouldn’t go below 45 degrees, kettle but no cups! Cheaper than most but still £86 a night!

- no hot water for the shower. - tap that does not work well (difficult to adjust hot and cold water). - no mop on the floor in the bathroom. - the bin has not been cleared since Monday, August 7!. - the towels have not been changed since our arrival for 4 days. - despite the remarks, nothing was done about the hot water problem. the staff are friendly but unhelpful. - very expensive despite that.

The staff was lovely and friendly but unfortunately the hotel needs more TLC...even if carpet on stairs is old should be clean ( carpet cleaning) dusting everywhere ect . Walls painted act Room size was good but cleanliness 0 points, shower needs redo it free from black / mold area and perhaps Update the mattresses, bed lining was OK but pillow would be nice have to be a new . Considering that you are in very good location I would suggest you investing in to your business more and turn into lovely enjoyable stay at yours . First step would be cleaning up to clients standards 👍🙏

Room decoration is tired

This hotel is in a good location 5 minutes from Marble Arch and ok for an overnight stay. Bed linen and towels clean. Reception open 24 hours so no problem with check in/out.

£160 paid. We couldn't shower in the morning because the bathroom had a whole in the celling which dirty water was leaking everywhere I have photos. And would like some compensation for our inconvenience

I fully appreciate this is a low star hotel. However, there was no ability to regulate the shower temperature to anything other than scalding hot, there was a pool of stagnant water on the floor in our bathroom when we arrived, the curtains did not close properly and we could not open the windows more than a few centimetres. We also booked a twin room and were checked into a double, and had to insist on changing before it was finally done with reasons being ‘we don’t know if a twin is being requested for friends, a couple etc’. A twin is a twin-it shouldn’t matter who is staying. You should get what you book!

The facilities in the room were very poor. Poor hygiene throughout.

Reception were friendly and helpful. A staff member did try to enter the room shortly after arrival, not knowing that I had booked in and the room was in use. Staff were polite and apologetic however.

Hotel is set in Victorian townhouses and has lots of staircases. Staff were friendly which I think is the only reason to give the hotel a 2 star rating. The main concern is cleanliness - very poor - especially in the rooms. Furniture dated and marked. Flooring and walls marked. Skirtings full of dust and limescale around tap and shower unit - both obviously been there for many years. Shower curtain hung where once a shower door must have been. Carpet in hallway extremely threadbare. I will be writing into Customer services with further info. The amount we paid for one night I expected a much better standard

The room was in a basement section of the hotel which smelt awful. Upon entering the room there was a dirty towel on the seat and a soaking wet one on the floor in the bathroom. There was also damp on the walls and marks on the duvet.

The location was great. It was very easy to find and the check in process was simple enough. Plenty of taxis and ubers in the area. There was also a Tesco's and Sainsbury's close by.
