We had two apartments and one was fine but the other had a dishwasher full of dirty pots and no dishwasher tablet to clean them. The owner was very apologetic and offered for us to leave our washing up and a free late checkout (we didn’t use, but a nice offer). There was only 3 beakers and one teaspoon but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. We thought the outside door and the entrance hall to the building were a bit scruffy and the carpet could do with replacement but the apartments themselves were nice. There is no on street parking nearby for longer than one hour before 6.30pm but we found a great car park only 10 minutes walk away at Hillsborough Park, Hawksbury Avenue - which might be useful to add to the parking details.

The apartment was well situated for an event at the OEC where we were going. The owner was very helpful with information about where to keep our bikes safely. Easy check in and prompt return of damage deposit. The apartment was nicely furnished with comfy beds.

It wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. Beds and bathroom were fine but other living areas could’ve done with a going over. On street parking not the best either.

Central location to my needs. All amenities that you would need for a short stay .very easy access to shops and public transport . Good WiFi.Comfy.very easy to get in touch with management if needed.

Room was directly adjacent to a tram stop and it was quite noisy, especially noticeable from 6 in the morning The bed was also very low which was an issue for us as we are elderly.

I knew it was by the tram lines and I didn't mind it, but be aware if noise bothers you. My neighbour was a bit noisy going in and out of their flat, but not an issue with the flat itself

Efficient and helpful staff, very polite and attendive to my requirements. I used the room to take an online exam and I found the table a bit wobbly. The staff was very responsive, came and fixed at no time

Slight fishy/ fat fryer smell on arrival is not very inviting but good number of windows and air flow to dissipate. Not awful but not a great introduction to an otherwise decent place. No soap to wash hands in the bathroom

Only access is up a flight of stairs so not the easiest when carrying big suitcases.

Amazing location, right in the centre of Hillsborough and a tram stop right outside! Super easy to find and surrounded by great shops.

Could possibly have additional pillows. I can’t remember seeing any information about the damage deposit, until after we have made the booking and received a message to say we need to pay additional £150. although the deposit is understandable, this should be made clear at the time of the booking (if it has and I’ve missed it then fair enough).

The property has everything you need and more, including washer dryer and dishwasher. excellent location for what we needed it for. Very helpful staff, respond quickly to any questions or requests. Finding the parking space can be tricky but that’s just the nature of the area. definitely would use again in the future.

Our apartment was exactly above a Chinese takeaway so every day when we arrived back the whole little apartment was smelled like a Chinese kitchen. The walls are like paper. We heard as the neighbour was sitting in the toilet and tried to do his "job". Also few nights we woke up at the middle of the night for someone's shuting the doors loudly. We were happy for the dishwasher first but then we realised we couldn't open it properly so we didn't use it.

We really liked the location of the apartment. Was easy to go to the city center also to Peak District. There was everything what we need during our holiday. It was tiny but cosy and we liked it all together with the disadvantages.
