The hotel was run down and shoddy, one of our rooms, although clean enough, had partly pulled down curtains, stains on the ceiling and a broken heated towel rail. The building looked as though it had been emptied of any amenities and the lounge area was smelly and unkempt with dirty ladies’ toilets.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location for our visit to BIC. Clean beds and bathroom.

Creaky floorboards. Disturbed night because of it. Pity there is no car park instead of pot luck on the street.

Pretty dodgy place. No reception, just a guy watching YouTube on his phone while asking for my booking confirmation. The lift wasn't working and my room was on the third floor. Water coming out the taps was dirty. None of the lamps in the room worked. No TV in the room. No breakfast available.

It's a real budget hotel , very tired looking inside and out. Staff are nice but not very professional. They are very casual in meeting and greeting. They use metal pin code locks on the main door and room door. My room was very tired and outdated. The curtains were terrible. The bathroom floor looked dirty

This is a tired (to the point of needing to be knocked down), rundown, smelly building. It stank of mildew and cigarettes. The corridors were poorly or completely unlit and everything was grimey and in terrible condition. The room was clean, but not bright and cheery like the photos. I guess you get what you pay for - I think we paid £40 a night or something. Won’t be coming back!

When we first got to the hotel there was multiple people hanging around the front smoking and drinking. From the outside we could see the curtains were ripped multiple windows here open with things hanging from them. The whole outside of the hotel is run down and looks abandoned. There was nowhere at all to safely leave and park your car, not even surrounding streets. everywhere is busy. the closest car park is a 20 minute walk away and charged £25 per day. we didn't even end up staying at this hotel as the poor quality of it. do not recommend staying here or even bothering booking.

Hotel is very dated. Building is not in good condition. Leaking roofs buckets catching water in lounge. Large gap under door to room. Building smells like stale cigarette smoke. Furniture very worn in room.

The hotel looked dirty, the room was not clean at all, holes all over the walls, the carpet looked like rats eat it, dirty all over the carpet, wall and in the toilet seat At our arrival the hotel stinks a lot like fried food, and our room too. The bathroom as well smelled horrible No ones was in the reception in the late evening nor in the morning A bit of leaking in the hall with buckets around It would be nice to have a refound
