The flat is located in between Town centre and seaside. It has been presented in a very clean and great condition, and made us feel comfortable with all the essentials included. Great price considering the 2 bedrooms with spacious living room and kitchen that it has.

Nothing at all, I struggled a little bit with the cooker, but thats very much on me. Once I was used to it everything worked nicely.

Ease of access and for more the location both to the shops/beach front and also to the station being only 10 minutes from Folkestone Central.

The best place I have stayed for a long time, cosy basement flat, with a kitchen and living room upstairs with all the facilities you need, I loved the back bedroom which provides a stand still bath which was absolutely lovely and relaxing. I loved the TV upstairs which you were able to move to face the dining table/kitchen area. Kitchen was very clean, neat and modern. 3 minute walk to town which is helpful. Parking right outside as you can pay for a permit during your stay which was very helpful. The decoration and interior design was beautiful and well thought out. Really didn’t want to leave. I book these places for my own space for a couple nights as unable to move into my own flat yet and this place was perfect.

It's a bit a schlep up 3 flights of stairs but then you are esconsed in your own private space.

George was a great host and the flat was lovely with great amenities . Really close to the Creative Quarter and the harbour and beach.

Great little apartment for a couple with central location!

The main issue with this property is something the owner can't necessarily help due to the central location, but parking can be an issue. With it being a permit holder only area, it makes timing things a bit difficult! From 5pm to 9am it's free but most locals are home by then, so parking is a premium! We got EXTREMELY lucky and after 3 laps around the block, we managed to park directly outside! Pure luck on our part though! George does give you the option to pay him for I'm assuming a permit but we worked around the times and luckily, it's free on Sundays! Other than that, honestly, the only other slight downside is the electric shower not working... but the tap shower still works which has great water pressure but is a pain to get the temp right! But once ya get there, its a lovely shower!

The apartment is secure with a decent lock at the main door and apartment door. It's a compact size, which suited us well with the bedroom directly to your left from the entrance, to the bathroom directly in front of you, with a bath, shower, toilet and sink and then the front room/kitchen directly to your right! Admittedly, we didn't use the cooking facilties but everything you would need is there! The size of the rooms if good and the sofa in the front room was pretty comfy, which pulls out to be a sofa bed! TV had streaming services available and was decent enough! WiFi was pretty strong and overall, we'd stay again! The location is pretty handy, with a big shopping complex literally a 4 minute walk away, with the likes of TK Maxx, Primark, JD Sports etc and a massive Asda and a Sainsburys too! A few bars/pubs around from what I could hear while walking around! Worth a stay! Worth noting that George's (owner) communication is also spot on!

There is no cupboard in the bedroom but as I only travelling for 2 nights I was okay living out of my case (there is a hanging rail with coathangers. The boiler is in the bedroom and that did wake me up as/when it clicked on. The bed wasn't very comfortable but the room was warm and clean. I slept on the couch the second night as the matress on bed was too soft and dipped in the middle. The bathroom sink is narrow with cabinets above which makes it a little tricky to brush teeth

The locatiion is excellent, very close to the town, harbour & beach. A huge asda almost across the road. The apartment was spacious with a lovely lounge & kitchen area. Table for eating. Kitchen had all the mod cons and was clean. Oven & microwave in good working order. The bathroom was clean and had a bath (lovely for winter!). The apartement was warm & cosy in the winter weather. As I was travelling alone I watched tele, plenty of options including netflix and wifi service. The decor throughout is beautiful, care & thought have gone into creating this space.

It would have been good to know that we were booking a basement room at time of availability rather than after confirmation. It did say multi level and that was fine. We were surprised that the bed was a sofa bed rather than a real bed although it was quite comfy. Outside was pretty scruffy and did not match the inside tidiness and presentation.

There isn't anything we didn't like, just a couple of suggestions.... A curtain downstairs to create some privacy for people sleeping on the sofa bed would be ideal, for when others are using the stairs or going to the bathroom. And maybe a step for shorter people to use to get into the bath as it is quite a high step over.

Communication was great and the owner sorted out parking for us. The apartment is lovely and exceeded expectations! There's everything you need. The beds are comfy. There's plenty of room for sitting and eating. We would definitely stay here again!.
