    Nothing. Keep it up :)

Lovely little place- only has two rooms and we had them both for two nights. Both rooms were a great size. Little sofa in each room. Was welcomed by Alan, who is a lovely helpful and friendly host. He responded quickly and happily to all our needs. Tea/coffee facilities in rooms and we were provided with biscuits on both nights. The beds were large and comfortable and it was very quiet so got a good nights sleep.

Alan was the perfect host! Easily accessible when we had any questions and made us feel very welcome. The property itself was perfectly located for day trips around the Peak District. The little added extras in the room were very thoughtful.

Alan contacted us by text day of arrival to confirm time and was the perfect host when we got there. The room was lovely, wonderfully clean and spacious and a view of Peveril Castle! We were given privacy whilst it was made clear we could approach any time for any need. Perfect.

    No issues.

Beautiful home and clean cosy room. The property is in a nice area and there are shops, pubs and public transport available down the road. All facilities e.g. Hot water, toiletries, a very comfortable clean bed, towels and shower were provided and excellent, within the property. Alan and Cassandra were very helpful, friendly and provided excellent warm hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying here. I will book again in the future, when I visit Castleton again.

Large clean, spacious room with a lovely view. The room had everything you needed, including coffee, tea, and hot water making facilities, towels, and shower gel. Very accommodating host with great communication. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

It was a bit noisy outside because of the traffic one morning but it didn't bother me too much.

Everything was perfect! I enjoyed the stay in the guesthouse, the room was very comfy and spacious. And Castleton is a beautiful village to explore the Peak District.

    There was nothing to dislike.

5* Guest room, absolutely beautiful room with excellent facilities. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Alan who showed us to our room and explained the tea and coffee makers and fridge for our use. The fridge came with a complimentary bottle of milk and water which was a lovely touch and well received. We had brought our own cereals and porridge pots and Alan kindly offered to provide bowls and spoons and even replaced them every day, we couldn’t have asked for more, Alan was so helpful and was very happy to answer any questions about the area we had. The decor was beautiful in the bedroom and bathroom in gorgeous calming colours. There was lots of storage drawers and wardrobes with hangers and a portable fan and hairdryer, all very useful, we settled in straight away! There was a handy seating area over looking the best view of fields, streams and mountains which you could also see from the bed, couldn’t ask for more it was stunning! Although there is no dedicated parking, there is a car park about 50 meters away which you can park at for £8 all day and if you eat or drink in the hotel, they will refund your parking and the food is great! The location of the guest house is absolutely perfect, there is a bar 2 doors away (no noise) and a few more steps on is the start of the high street where you will find 6 pubs all serving great food options at reasonable prices. There are even more tea rooms/cafes serving a variety of options for breakfast and lunch in pretty settings. There is a local chip shop too which is excellent value and does the most amazing fish cakes which are a must to try! There is a visitors centre where there are more than 6 circular walks to do from here. The whole village is so pretty with amazing views, we will definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else, the Four Seasons Guesthouse and Alan made our Easter stay just perfect. Thank you Alan, see you again Jenny and Tony

Nothing at all. I cannot fault a single part of my experience.

This is the second time I have stayed at this guesthouse and have been incredibly impressed on both occasions. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, before and during the stay and the guesthouse itself is located very central within Castleton and just a couple of minute walk to the main shops, pubs and all other attractions. The rooms are very spacious, have a mini fridge which is really useful to store drinks and food in, there are maps available which cover local walking routes and it is just a fabulous place at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and I will certainly be back.

    Nothing!

A friendly introduction from the host before being left to my own devices; the room was large but felt cosy & very comfortable. Plenty of provisions (tea/coffee/milk/biscuits) were a nice added touch. Perfect location for exploring the local area & very reasonably priced! Would definitely return.

I really enjoyed my stay! Alan the manager was very kind. The room itself was cosy, clean and bright. Coffee machine (Nespresso capsule compatible), hot water machine, coffee capsules, milk and tea were provided. TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix. Close to the bus stops. Maps available at the entrance (free to borrow). Would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Will stay again if traveling to the Peak District.

    .

Jayne and I loved our stay at the beautiful Four Seasons Guest House. The large rooms were very comfy and the views from the window were wonderful. It is stumbling distance from some lovely taverns and cafés, so there’s plenty of choice for everyone. We loved the castle, the many caverns and breathtaking walks in the surrounding area of Castleton. We look forward to visiting again soon.
