Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI tried to get rooms closer to my elderly parents and even though we were on the same corridor they were 120 and we were 115. Dad with his alzheimers is known to wander in the night so would have heard his door closing if been next door. The checkout price was alot more than it should have been we had been charged double for breakfast. My daughter and I had drinks in the lounge at night and I paid for them on my card but they too had been charged to the final bill

United KingdomPerhaps it was because we were among the last to eat in the evening at 8.30pm, but our food wasn't great. Overcooked gammon and chips that looked at least quadruple cooked rather than just triple! To the hotel's credit they removed them from our bill.
Beautiful hotel with spacious, stylish rooms kept immaculately clean. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was fabulous.

I ask about a mini fridge because my husband had just had a knee replacement a few weeks before and had to keep putting an ice pack on his knee and they provided that with no problem. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Just a bit expensive. Lovely breakfast

Reception staff efficient and welcoming. Breakfast excellent - pleasant dining room, good food well cooked, good staff. A pot of tea in the lounge also good - a comfortable place for five of us to be able to have a cup of tea and a chat.
