Room was a squeeze with a pulled out sofa bed. Not sure why it was there when we were a couple? Shower was very slippy, could have had a nasty accident.

The weather could have been better.

The breakfast was varied i.e. continental style as well as full English The location is very good e.g. approximately 10 minutes from railway stations to the main shopping area. There are plenty of and varied places to eat or to get takeaways. Bath is steeped in history and there are many places of interest for all ages.

Bed was a bit too firm for me, awoke each morning with a stiff back. Not much choice on the evening meal selection but what there was. was very good.

Breakfast was good - everything you would expect except there was no bacon in the cooked breakfast section. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, near to city center.

The hotel doesn’t have a car park so it is quite a walk from the car park they direct you to. And there is a closer car park then the one they direct you to. Also the car park is very expensive to park In it cost us nearly £50 for 4 days worth of parking. And the minimum amount of parking you can buy is 4 hours which also costs quite a bit of money. There is also no loading bay outside the hotel so you cannot park right outside to unload. The lift in the hotel is nice and large but they have added a safety feature, to use the lift to move up floors you have to press your room key against the scanner. This is a great safety feature but also doesn’t always work so sometimes it feels like the lift isn’t working. But it hasn’t broken you just have to hold the key card on it longer or if it doesn’t work get the manger to come up with you and use his key. The important thing is it’s not the lift that is broken it’s just the key card reader. But I never had any problems with the key card reader on the door to my room.

The hotel was right in the middle of bath we are ill and can’t walk much but even for us the location made it possible to walk around the city. It can’t have been more than a 10 minute walk from all the places you want to see, Jane Austen center, Roman baths and the sightseeing bus stops right out side of the hotel every 15-30 minutes. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful, whenever we had a question there was a staff member to ask often the manger who is stationed at the front desk 24/7. Nothing we asked was too much for the members of staff, I have medication that I need to store in a fridge, when we arrived I realised that the fridge in the room didn’t get cold enough for my medication which is disastrous but the staff were super helpful and came up with solution to store my medication in their fridge behind the front desk. I could get to my medication when ever I needed it even in the middle of the night and every time I asked for my medication no one ever made me feel like It was a trouble having to help me. Tom one of the members of staff was great he had all the knowlage of bath and was more than happy to help us and give us tips. And on our last day he even helped us out to the car with our bags and even helped me load the car. All the staff were so incredibly kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel rooms were all extremely clean even the hallways and the lift were clean. The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard. The hotel room was large and the beds were large for single beds. Almost the size of a double bed but not quite. The pillows were the softest pillows I’ve ever felt and the beds had a mattress cover that was incredibly comfortable as well. The shower was huge and the bath room was well stocked and very clean. The hotel feels very safe there are many safety features put in place to help with safety. And even though you are right in the middle of bath city it doesn’t feel unsafe at any point.

On arrival I didn't initially feel a valued customer at reception.

Good breakfast. good quality room and very clean, Shower was great and soap wash provided. Bed comfortable and clean. The staff member at breakfast was very helpful and explained how breakfast was arranged i.e. locating and reserving a table etc. Also the staff on the bar and reception in the evening, were very helpful.

It would have been nice to have drinking water in the room or available nearby. The breakfast room was a complete shambles in the morning and tables weren't cleaned. Would have been a bonus to have a discount on some nearby parking facilities as none available on-site.

Excellent location really close to all amenities. The room was spacious and very clean, with clean toilet and shower. There was a gym on-site which we didn't get to use but looked good.

Breakfast was a bit limited. Expected bacon as a minimum for a cooked breakfast. The gym could be stocked with bigger weights and more equipment.
