Michael the host was always super efficient at responding to any messages and letting us know where we could park etc. The location of the apartment could be any more perfect, and the value for money is exceptional! Really spacious apartment with outdoor areas too, and fully equipped with everything you will need from bedding to towels, coffee machine, cutlery etc.

There was nothing we didn't like , we had a fantastic time in a beautiful property.

Just arrived home from a weekend with friends, Folkestone Harbour View was superb , everything you could have wanted and more , the facilities in the property were second to none and it really did feel like home for the weekend with lots of added home comforts, Michael the host could not have been more helpful , in fact we loved it so much we have already booked again!

unexpectedly spacious, lots of arty touches, clean comfortable and amazing roof top room with sea views… not to mention close to the beach and slap bang in the middle of the old town!

we absolutely loved the property, and we had the most amazing stay to welcome in my 30th birthday, lots of dog friendly bars and restaurants so our little girl could come everywhere with us! couldn’t fault it at all! we can’t wait to come back with the kids. thanks again!

Nothing! Happy with all aspects of the accommodation.

The location was perfect. Situated at the bottom of the High Street, the accommodation is close to the harbour and beaches.

Location was superb, on the old High Street and within a two minute walk of the harbour. Communication with the hosts was exceptional, helping with where the nearest parking was etc.

The location is fabulous, in town, lovely street with art galleries, and plenty options for food drink. Also, close to the harbour and the beach. I'd love to have stayed a few extra days to explore more. Also, the apartment is exceptionally spacious, and has everything you could possibly need.

There is one bathroom in the apartment so we had to queue for showers which was the only downside!

The apartment is huge! And the location is perfect, in the creative quarter and a stone's throw from the beach. It was like home from home, with all the little touches like coffee pods, milk in the fridge, a freezer full of ice and toiletries in the bathroom and even body boards for the beach. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.

Comfy house in the heart of the lovely creative quarter. The hosts were amazing, communication was the best I’ve ever had. The house is easy to find, clean, spacious and everything you need is provided. The sun terrace was a real bonus and the kids loved hanging out up there. Really good restaurants on the doorstep. You can walk easily to the beaches and Harbour Arm a good place to hang out for food and drinks.

Noise from the cafe/ bar opposite at night was a bit loud but stopped after closing. A worthy pay off for the location.

The exceptional host who were very thoughtful every step of the way. It was a real home from home, and a great terrace to enjoy the view.

The street outside was quite busy on Friday night but to be expected as it is a lovely buzzy area.

Location was perfect..market garden just up the hill was wonderful for breakfast and lots of choice..Generally though restaurants available to suit everyone The hosts were in contact via email on our arrival day to assure us that if there were any issues(.which they’re weren’t!), they could be contacted and would resolve things. Would highly recommend and we will certainly return in the future.

Parking is easy and very near the accommodation, less than a minuet walk from the car park to the front door. I think people with reduced mobility might find this flat tricky. You can't park outside the property and there is a small walk up a gradual hill to the front door. In the property there are quite a few steps, with corner staircases which could make climbing difficult. However, the stairs are well lit and there are plenty of grab rails to help support you up and down . Also, the property has child gates fitted to prevent children or dogs falling down the stairs. The property was spacious and had everything you'd need for a stay. WiFi was great and each room had a TV in (if that is your thing). There were plenty of interesting places and shops around the property. The street is lively and busy most of the day and into the evening and night, with the associated noise. But sat out the back on the enclosed patio or upstairs in the sun lounge / roof terrace the hum of the street isn't noticeable. There is also a fantastic view from this room. All in all we had a great stay, if the weather had been better we'd have explored the area more. As it was Folkestone had enough to offer for a few days to keep us entertained. And yes I'd go back!
