Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOnly one minor negative which was coffee at breakfast could have been larger as cups were too small but that's just my personal taste, everything else about the hotel was fab and I would definitely return.
Room was fab and bigger than I expected and breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Ferry service was great and very reliable.

Family of five - room spacious enough so we didn't feel that we were tripping over each other. Hotel very well connected with bus stop outside the door. Very easy to navigate. Breakfast set us up for the day.

Family trip to London. Liked coming back at night on the Uber boat to relax after busy days in the city.

Great hotel, a busy hotel but it doesn’t feel overwhelming busy. the facilities were excellent and very try well staffed - everyone was very try friendly and helpful and wore a smile!! The bar has a great atmosphere to it. Breakfast was great and was lovely to be able to have an extra coffee on the river side terrace in the sunshine. The boat was a great added extra to the accommodation. Cheeky little upgrade was nice and the room was decorated too.

IrelandUnfortunately, bar staff are a little unfriendly & avoided eye contact more than actually serving. They always looked busy behind the bar, but it's nice to be acknowledged when you are standing waiting to be served. My teens left to get me as they were ignored for over 5 mins with no one else waiting to get served.
Location for London Marathon weekend was perfect. Runners are very well catered for. Transport to the start & from the finish line is very easy.

United KingdomOn booking we didn’t realise the hotel was situated the other side of the river bit of a faff finding the ferry to cross on arrival. The walk from Canary Wharf tube didn’t bother us but for the less able it might. ( 2 minutes to cross a tad pricey, but then free to staying guests at the hotel ) Marathon morning no ferry/boat crossing early enough. Alternative walk to tube at Canada Water 20 minutes walk from hotel ( if we had known this on arrival we could have gotten off here and not Canary Wharf) We used this station for logistics throughout our trip. Hotel its self was ok nothing special. We had a view of the carpark, local residents garages and overflowing bins situated below our balcony. To which were emptied one morning, but the overspill of rubbish was left in the balcony area below. ( perhaps a unused hotel room) ( not pleasant on the eye) The room itself was ok, although tepid water to shower, the most comfortable of beds and pillows to only dream on. The carpet was in desperate need of a clean.
