It’s location was absolutely perfect. Also, it had recently undergone a thorough renovation, so everything was really fresh in appearance. We took the basic room simply because we’re so active and rarely spend much time in a room, but it was still quite nice.

Pricing was odd. VAT included after price so cheap price was not actually THAT cheap and breakfast that was "included" actually was taken out of £50 security you had to place at time of checking. I contacted the hotel directly about this asking for an explanation but they never answered. As much as I enjoyed my stay I would not stay again nor recommend it despite having a lovely stay and staff were fabulous.

The bathroom flooded everytime we took a shower! The tiles weren't slanted enough to force the water down the drain. Keep in mind we had an accessible bathroom/room so that may have been the difference. Sometimes we had to wade through a crowd to get into the hotel/elevator because of the rooftop bar.

The rooms were decently sized and nicely decorated in shades of black, white, and gold. The bathroom was enormous and the water pressure was good. The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly, accommodating, and made our stay so pleasant. The Aldgate train station is right next door!

If you want to go to the rooftop as a paying guest, you have to go all the way down to the reception first and then go back up. I think this is not very convenient towards guests.

The only bad note is an automatic light in the closet, that kept turning on everytime we move because it was not possible to close the door of closet completely… but we managed not to pay much attention to it.

Limited options for breakfast.

When I checked in the room that was given to me doesn’t have a/c. The reception guy helped me transferred to a new room and upgraded me to a suites. Given that I am so tired due to long travel and not feeling well the reception guy makes it as fast as he can so I can rest right away. Kiddos to the reception guy unfortunately I forgot his name.

Only thing I didn't like was we only stayed 2 nights

It was our first time staying Together and hotel saint made it an miracle by giving us their best room as a birthday gift. It was much more than we expected and we had so much fun.

Aircon was very aggressive regardless of settings so I had to continually switch it on and off to achieve preferred ambient condition.

Location perfect for my needs, right next to a tube station and on the edge of the City. Room was large enough to work in, spotlessly clean and good shower.

Everything was great - if there was one negative it was that the lifts seemed very slow.

Check in was fantastic and the rooms were kept super clean. Really well located with 3 tube stations nearby.
