Location was excellent positioning to all things central in York..

It was a bit noisy, could hear people talking and doors slamming at all hours which woke me up, soft closing would have helped. Breakfast options were limited so didn’t use. Minibar was prohibitively expensive but within easy reach of shops, inc Sainsburys Local. It would have been good if recycling info was available, was surprised not to see this in Nordic inspired hotel

Liked the Moomin pictures, and scandi decor, small but comfortable room, it was handy to have a little fridge. Great location with nice view of Museum gardens

View from the room want great a it appeared to be a building site but that is totally out of the hotels control but I can't think of anything else I didn't like!

Beautiful comfortable room woth nice decor. Our welcome was lovely and we were able to check in slightly early, fantastic to be able to drop our bags and freshen up before walking through York as we only had one day. Location was perfect.

Whilst we loved our time at Jorvik house, there wasn’t any still bottled water 😔 the only water other than sparkling there was tap water from the bathroom which obviously we wouldn’t drink and whilst there was a wonderful selection of other beverages we would of likes some normal plain water 😂

The staff were pleasant and welcoming on our arrival. Escorted us to our room and gave us a good guide to how things worked and located. The hotel is very close to the centre of York but in a lovely quiet side street.

The room was so stylish and clean! I also liked the location - it's near the beautiful museum park and the train station. It was also so helpful that I could have left my luggage before check-in at the reception desk.

Lovely elegant rooms on the ground floor, very clean and comfortable with luxurious touches. Excellent location next to the river and Museum Gardens which gives it a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but still within a short walk of the railway station and city centre attractions. Staff were very helpful.

The loacation was ideal, staff were lovely, rooms were very well presented, it was impeccably clean, we had an amazing night at this hotel

Nothing really. No lift, but not a problem for us. Instructions from train station took us quite a long route - shorter options would have been better with small cases to trundle!

Staff very helpful with directions and recommendations. Quiet room on top floor looking towards gardens. Optional breakfast suited us. Everything needed was in the room. Luxurious towels, heated towel rail, coffee machine and other extras all added to make lovely two nights.

Temperature in the room was pretty cool. Again, no breakfast (although you could order it from off-site to be delivered).

Bed was comfortable and big. No breakfast, which was disappointing, but we knew that when we made the reservation. Walk to heart of town was easy, through the park. Quiet area, no interruptions to sleep.
