Not the best lighting for makeup but the bathroom had lots of shelves for me to out my make up across without worrying it would fall into the sink/all over the floor.

I went for the local comic con, hotel was right on the doorstep of the con so I didn't have to walk far and they were cosplayer friendly. Would recommend to other cosplayers for future comic cons. Very helpful when we had trouble finding bags for some of the stuff we had bought.

Breakfast was a bit odd. Only small side plates were offered for the cooked breakfast which were far too small for even a modest serving.

Quiet room, fabulous location, good price with surprisingly good value overnight parking at the nearby Kings Dock car park.

Staff were friendly, particularly bar staff. Lobby and reception areas very bright and clean.

Bar open to open a bit later than pubs as we got back to hotel from Liverpool centre at about 11:10 pm because sometimes after getting back you feel like a night cap before you go to bed.

Stains on the floor, broken off paint work in the bathroom, chewing gum and bits on the floor. The room was so poorly lit naturally, we had every light on apart from when we were sleeping. For the price I expected better upkeep unfortunately 🙃

Our room 356 had a large red stain and various brown stains over the carpet . Also ,there was no bbc 1,2 or itv on the TV. I asked to change and was given 355 which was cleaner but there was a damp smell coming from the bathroom. We were only staying for one night, so we stayed there.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were pleasant and helpful .

Stains on carpet, 3 moths in room and one 1 in the bath. In the morning we were told we apparently had not paid for breakfast and that we paid for breakfast yesterday which wasn’t the case as we checked in at around 15:00. Quickly resolved, however.

Location is very good on the docks with easy access to a lot of Liverpool. Although we booked months in advance and it was our wedding anniversary, we think we received the smallest room in the hotel which had no view 😕 However, the bed was comfortable, bathroom functional and the breakfast buffet was good.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick as a room was ready when we arrived and we did not have to wait until 3.00pm.

Took my granddaughter for her 13th birthday and she loved it. Room was great at the front of the hotel with the big wheel right outside. She also loved being so close to Albert docks.

I've been to this hotel before and think it is excellent value for money. Everything you need in walking distance.

Three rooms booked between us and all rooms went really hot in the night so we think that they turn the air con off in the night to save money but it means that out of 6 people no one had a good nights sleep over two nights. Our room was dark (you had to use your phone torch to see what was in the wardrobe!) as there were no lights in the front half of the room. Just silly, you cant believe it unless yoou see it ;-(
