Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHad some issues when we got there, the fridge was not cold and there was an alternative fridge in the kitchen which was also not cold, (even after the host came out to sort this out), as a result food went bad. Property cleanliness was questionable. There were cobwebs around the window and the en-suite toilet had hair in it, which must have been collected from the shower drain. The en-suite was vary compact. The garden was in need of some TLC, lots of weeds on the patio area and weeds growing through the astro turf. Car parking comfortably is for 2 cars on the drive and 1 to 2 cars on the front of the house on the street. The dining table had 8 chairs, the property is advertised as able to accommodate 12, so this would not be suitable for large groups. Although this was not an issue for us, 2 of the bedrooms were on the ground floor and the remaining 4 on 1st floor.
Lovely house, had all facilities, TVs in all rooms. Pleasant stay despite some issues.

United KingdomWe liked this house, it is located in a very beautiful and quiet area with all facilities. The only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the kitchen, it should be cleaned better. When we came to the kitchen, we saw a vacuum cleaner there, it was very dirty, in my opinion, it is better to clean it from there, and your oven is also not working. The bed linen, in my opinion, was not very clean and all wrinkled.

United KingdomIt is listed as 'luxurious' but it was basic, bare walls, very small rooms, the garden was terrible (fake grass sections badly laid with weeds coming through). There was not enough cutlery, plates or cups (just 6-8). Not enough seating - there was only a small table in very echoey living room with just 6 chairs and just two small settees. Outside on narrow terrace was very small square metal table for 4 but 6 seats. Several bedrooms were literally only as big as the double bed. The en-suite shower was particularly small, so effectively had one bathroom with shower for the whole group (9 of us). If there had been 12 that would have not fitted at all. Parking not as described - only fitted 3 cars.
