How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very good location, 30m walk to town centre and close to local shops and restaurants. Very attentive host, always responded to messages quickly. Apartment had everything we needed including Travel-cot and Highchair. It was a great stay.

Nothing. If really need to pinpoint a flaw it will be the key card. It is not contactless. It need touching the sensor. I spent more than 15 mins to find out it need touching the lock body to unlock 🤣🤣🤣
Clean and tidy. Host having put their heart in preparing the apartment for their guests. Clearly labelled drawers ease the hiccups on searching. Digital key for entry / door locking. Vodafone light speed internet. Nicely decorated interior. It is a real feel-like-home experience !

Shower door, the rubber seal at the bottom could do with replacing as it's fairly grubby and broken. Maybe some nice smellies in the bathroom also as it had a damp smell,.due to not being used much.
We arrived early hours in the morning due to flight times and the host made it extremely easy to enter the property. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and we loved the power shower 😁

We could not use the front bedroom due to road noise and street lights shining through the Venetians. The kitchen drips badly. The Elle tropic front door lock was fine when it worked but it was frustrating to have to go through this door when the car is parked at the rear of the property.
The property was clean and as described. It also included extras like shampoo and conditioner which is rare these days. The beds were comfortable.

Great little apartment, perfect for a family of four or four friends staying away for a night or two. Loved the channel options on the TV, the option of using their towels, extra bits like shampoo, conditioner being available and toilet rolls etc. - all stuff we didn't expect to be available.

No criticism of the property at all, you can trust the photos.
Fabulous well equipped apartment. Lots of lovely extras and a late checkout a real bonus. Good communication beforehand then left to it which is exactly what you need but I am sure if we had needed anything we would have got a speedy response. Definitely recommend.

Handy off street parking close to the back entrance. Spacious, comfortable and very clean. Very efficient electronic entry to the property. In a quiet location with bus stop close by to get into the centre in about 15 minutes. Reasonably priced taxi journey back to the apartment late in the evening. Ali the host provided some basic supplies, water,tea,coffee etc including sealed toothbrushes and sanitary products in case you had forgotten them. Ali was attentive and available if needed. I really enjoyed being able to have my morning cup of tea in the back garden. The apartment had everything we needed and we had a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Bournemouth. Highly recommended

I felt like the host was very accommodating, they really made us feel welcomed.The house was really modern, had cool lighting, the TV was already set up so we could use Disney + and Netflix etc. We really loved staying here.
