The shower was extremely loud and the parking they charge £12 a day was in a back street didn't look great so paid in a car park for £2 all day

We Didn't actually stay. I was disappointed with the outcome. My father in law who was coming with us to visit family had an heart attack. On day we were due to book in. I phoned from hospital to cancel on the day of arrival so got no refund. But i was still contacted at 11pm at night to ask where we were! Booking.com said they couldn't refund unless hotel agreed. Hotel refused even though it was exceptional circumstances. I did say we would be coming again to visit family and would be booking with them later in the year. Even if we had only had my father in laws room refunded that would of been something at a distressing time. We were also emailed by hotel following day to ask for a review..Im sure this comes out automatically but it was annoying as all i got from 2 phone calls was you should of phoned day before...day before we will still coming!! Father in law is recovering well. But booking.com can also see we did not stay so why keep asking for reviews.!!!

Breakfast not good value for money at £15. I had to wait for a long time . Coffee was only warm. Chef finally brought my full english breakfast, bacon was good, 2 fried eggs ok, 3 sausages under cooked pink in the middle, no baked beans chef said the beans will come in a pot? I ate the eggs & bacon no beans arrived surely just put the beans on the same plate prior serving. My advise dont pay £15 for the breakfast a lot better breakfast is only a short walk away at Witherspoons Powder Monkey. Overall the Manor breakfast was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever been served.

Milk in the room had spoilt, so I needed to request more. Breakfast in the morning, both the apple juice and orange juice had gone off, which needed replacing. Although breakfast was cooked freshly, I would have preferred to help myself as I felt a lot was wasted. The bed was solid, but that was just our view.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

Having just come off a 12 hour flight, I was woken at at an early hour by the cleaners whose station was practically outside my door, and it’s an old building with noisy floorboards. But I suppose their room needs to be somewhere…

Breakfast was quite expensive at £15 per head, but everything offered and more if we had wanted it, so ok! Room was in the attic and had a very tight enclosed en-suite. but for a couple of days, it wasn’t an issue.

Convenient, ideal location, right on the doorstep to town and beach. Hotel was clean, bright and quiet. Beautiful sea views across Exmouth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Value for money!

Breakfast was an extra 15 pounds per person so it would have been very expensive for 3 of us.

Booked parking and was able to park there before check in. Very helpful staff. Had noisy neighbors and called receptionist who dealt with this immediately.

Since our last stay several years ago it’s had a very good refurbishment. Found on street parking very easy on hotel front.

The room was rather compact and a bit too warm (much better than too cold though, especially in December), but it was easy to open the windows. While the hotel seemed quiet (and it was a Friday night), my room was right next to the elevator and so was noisy any time anyone came too or fro. In general though, it was a lovely hotel and I plan to stay again.

The room had everything you could want. It was spotlessly clean and had obviously been newly decorated and with a new, modern bathroom. The location is great, near the seafront and near many cafés, restaurants and shops in the town. The man at reception was lovely and helped me with my heavy suitcase in the afternoon and then again the next morning. It was good value for money. I didn't have time for the breakfast (at additional cost), so can't comment.

Building is a little bit like a labyrinth. Complete interior with heavy used look, needs TLC or replacement. Asked for a simple coffee the next morning and "the establishments down the street" were recommended.

The staff are very friendly & helpful, the hotel is in a great location, very clean & warm. The room I had was huge with a lovely view & was really good value. The downstairs is quite new & modern, the upstairs & the bedroom I had isn’t as modern but I was more than happy with it especially for the price. I got here by train & travelled about on foot or public transport very easily from here.
