Exceptionally clean and beautiful decor. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very nice touches in the rooms with bottled water, dressing gowns and coffee station.

The only thing that slightly lessened my stay was that the toilet cistern refill mechanism seemed to have gotten stuck once while I used the bathroom in the middle of the night. I flushed again and this fixed it.

Communication with the owner by text was very fast, the assistant who showed me the room was very friendly and professional. The room was even nicer than I thought it was going to be from the photos – I almost felt bad that I stayed for just one night! The location was excellent, less than ten minutes walk from Leas Cliff Hall and less than five minutes walk from Sandgate Road car park (on the way to the beach), where I was able to leave my car for the entire stay.

Perfect location with lots of lovely cafes and eateries nearby. Easy parking options. Clean, extremely very well equipped and thoughtful touches in the rooms. Layout works really well for us travelling as a family. Joseph was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and showing us around the property.

We were on the top floor, so lots of stairs but Strode met us as we checked in and carried my case up for me

The property was absolutely spotless and very well equipped. Rooms were beautifully styled and the host Strode was very welcoming and friendly. Well presented shared kitchen, if you wanted to use microwave etc. We had breakfast at Butty’s next door which was very nice.

Good quality room for the price. Very comfortable bed. Great extras - coffee machine, proper milk in fridge, bottles water, decent shampoo and shower gel in shower. Black out curtains.

Location is great, very well equipped with places to eat and drink. The property is well maintained and the furnishings are lovely. So comfortable and clean - it’s our 4th stay here. Perfect when we come to visit family.

We had a spacious, awesome room in a really good location. The employee / owner (I'm not quite sure tbh) was really helpful and friendly. He gave good recommendations for restaurants and what we could do.

Needed a stop over as we were. getting an early Channel Tunnel crossing the next day, and this place looked ideal. Not disappointed at all, very clean and very comfortable with everything we needed and a short walk from plenty of places to eat. There is an underground car-park a short walk away which was very reasonable too. Very nice, would stay here again.

Great location, comfortable room, everything you needed & very clean. Easy check in. Right next to a fabulous pub the Raynor Arms. A short walk to the seafront. Dinner at Rocksalt was excellent.

The decor was very nice but quite dark I like brighter decor but that's a personal thing. There were a lot of stairs too so this is not a place for people with mobility issues.

It was very nice the host was very pleasant. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The en-suite in our room was really nice and the shower was really good
