Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBeing very picky, the bed wasn’t hugely comfortable, it dipped a little in the middle & the toilets were rather cramped despite being clean.
Location was fab. Beautiful, rural, peaceful. The site overall was very pretty & quiet. Lots of birds singing with a lovely pond & stream. The tents were great, very cute. Lovely shower.

United KingdomThe track down to the accommodation was not very convenient especially as my partner has a bad back and we struggled to carry bags down along with holding onto a dog. Also was very steep which isn't mentioned before we booked.
Location was lovely, bed was comfortable

United KingdomThe shower wasn't working as they were installing a new unit but they had a temporary fix in place which worked perfectly fine.
It was an absolutely magical stay. The tent was super cosy and I think I had the best nights sleep in an age in that tent! They provided everything for a nice and cosy stay away. The location is perfect, in a little field by a pond full of ducks! And you can see them waddling around between ponds. There's a lovely liver running along the site so you always have the comforting sound of rushing water, and a trial through the woods just across the tree bridge! Highly recommend to everyone from solo travellers to families, it's a magical stay.

United KingdomThe hot water wasn’t working when we stayed, but this can’t be helped and they did try to offer the best shower solution so that we could still wash
The view was amazing and the site was so peaceful, the bell tents themselves were set up amazingly and were clearly well thought out

United KingdomHill was VERY steep, we were told about this prior to arrival so it was expected. Start of the season so a bit of tidying up needed - shower and toilets could do with an upgrade and a separate area to wash up would be useful.
Lovely setting, quiet and relaxing, loved the fire pit and gas camping stove, also provided tea/coffee etc.

United KingdomBit of a steep hill but worth the treck down to the views of the lake so can't complain :)
Beautiful little spot, really quite not to far from toilets or shower block, nice comfy bed with extra blankets if it's cold

United KingdomIt was very quiet while we were there, right and the end of the season, but I expect there's a queue for the 2 toilets, 1 shower, and 1 sink in the busiest weeks.
A stunningly beautiful site and the tents are well equipped.

NetherlandsGoing downhill in foot was a bit hard. Glad I didn't try doing it by car. Toilet and shower can use an upgrade as the place keeps growing I guess.
Friendly staff. The tent has all you need and a little extra. They obviously try to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay.

United KingdomWhile the steep hill to the site was expected, it was still a tough one! Nothing you can do about it though, but if we stayed again I would rethink how much stuff I brought so I didn’t have to drive down!
My daughter and I loved this place! Quiet and secluded, lovely tent with little extras, facilities spot on for the price, given we booked in the middle of the summer holidays!

United KingdomThe only downside to this place is the very steep, long hill going all the way down covered in mud n stones with big dips all over.
The area was peaceful and idealic, the tents were warm, cozy, and well thought out. The surroundings were perfect for a couple get away and I loved hearing the birds in the morning and the natural little waterfall on the stream in the evening

United KingdomBeautiful, peaceful hideaway, and just what we were looking for for a weekend away for a 70th birthday. The bell tents were fab, large comfy bed, and covered decking area outside. Loved that there was enough basic equipment provided (bedding, stove, tea and coffee, fire pit) to ensure a comfy quick stay where you didn’t have to worry about packing ‘everything’, but it still felt like camping. Great walks nearby and some lovely places to eat locally. The hill was a bit too steep to risk for our clapped out old banger but we saw lots of cars navigate it with no bother and for us, the walk up and down (once at each end) with the wheelbarrow provided was absolutely fine. Owners went above and beyond in communication before our stay which was very much appreciated. Thank you naturally glamping! We’ll be back!

United KingdomThe toilets smelt awful. The hill coming down needs work on the pot holes. I also feel they need an outdoor washing up area with a fridge so you can wash up and store some cold items.
Very relaxing. Chilled out and lovely view of the little river. The bed was comfy and the tent was lovely and clean on arrival. Lots of furniture and cooking supplies.

United KingdomLots of space. More tents could easily have been added, yet there was so much open space, which added to the feel of the site. Very, very impressed with the quilty of the facilites/tents, scenery, location and maintenace of the entire site. Nothing was too much trouble, always someone to help and answer questions. Have recommended to friends and will definately go back.
