The view from our room was spectacular and it was great to see the animals (geese, horses, goats, donkeys and dogs). The owners were really nice and even helped me jump start my car when my battery went flat - legends!

Location was beautiful and quiet. Accommodation suited our needs. The staff were super helpful and friendly and we loved all the animals :) We had access to a gas BBQ which we used to make our dinner on both nights. The hot tub was amazing, especially as the sun was setting as it looked over the beautiful views. There was a lovely local pub and a co-op for any essentials. It was just 15/20 minutes drive from Bath centre. Also only a short drive from Stonehenge.

I wouldn’t call it a “dislike” but I think I was expecting something else. I think if anyone is looking at booking to stay here then they need to understand that there are animals, you are in a location that is quiet and out of town. Personally, this wasn’t for us, but I think this was due to not really looking at the ads properly, rather than there being an issue with the actual accommodation. I think it would genuinely benefit the vendor to give a better understanding of the accommodation people will be provided with, which again is not a negative comment, rather, a recommendation.

The place was tranquil and quiet whilst we were there. A real “in to the wild” feel about it. Staff were lovely and the animals were lovely too! There are people who are saying it’s a rehab area for soldiers suffering PTSD, which paints a misinformed picture of the accommodation. There is accommodation provided to veterans who suffer with PTSD…. Not a rehab. If you want a break where you are going to be as close to the outdoors as you can get without being “outdoors” this is the perfect place for you!

The rain when we arrived wasn't fun but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay for the next few days when good weather finally kicked in. The bus takes a long time to come so you have to know the schedule beforehand.

We liked the lovely cottage together with the hot tubs just as you walk out the door. The beautiful scenery around you. There were friendly dogs running around making you feel at home. A nice relaxing place away from home. Cute bathroom. :-)

Great place! Just what we needed for a family night away. We used the hot tub all evening and in the morning and made the most of a country side walk. Very close to Bath.

Due to the remote location it would have been good to be able to use the gas bbq how ever this seemed to be broken

The only thing I could say is the price point being a bit steep for what is provided but unsure of what the areas surrounding are charging and it being close to Bath usually demands certain price points.

The location was fantastic with beautiful views all the way round. The cabin was homely & filled with the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, the wood fired hot tub was lush on those cold evenings & there was plenty of space in the room and outside area. The hosts were very welcoming and made check-in a breeze, also leaving open communication lines if we ever needed anything.
