The room was a little small, but very clean and comfortable.

The staff were friendly, the food was great especially the Sunday roast. So much food. They should offer a £10 small plate as well as the £15 big plate.

Things can vibrate a little bit when heavy lorries pass in front at high speeds.

Nice hotel, good restaurant downstairs with bar Very convenient to visit Liverpool. Ample parking space. They provide ear plugs for sleeping.

It would have been perfect if there had been a hair dryer and maybe an iron.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep within minutes! Great value for money and would stat there again

We stayed on 2nd floor which was in loft/roof area. Unfortunately that meant that half of the room wasn’t really accessible due to low sloping ceilings. Very little room around the beds because of this. Very little storage and would have struggled if stopping for more than two nights. There was no table where I could work from. Shower was set in bath but very limited room once again because of sloping roof. Our room was situated on the side of building where the busy Chester to Whitchurch road lies. Very noisy from traffic with old fashioned double glazing. Room would shake when HGV’s passed. Ear plugs were given for free in room but still noisy.

Lovely building which was well decorated and clean. Restaurant area nice and food was fantastic. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lots of parking.

Great stop over point very good value for money Very clean Comfortable bed Felt in space available in bathroom a shower would have been better than bath as a little awkward. Had meal in pub which was lovely.

The meals were a bit pricey. Lots of noise from main road, even though our room was back of house. We could feel the house slightly shake whenever a lorry passed by. We used earplugs, which cut out the noise; but couldn't stop the shaking.

The staff were friendly, nice atmosphere. The room was very clean, and was serviced daily. Bed was comfortable. Nice countryside view from room. Very close to places of interest.

ALL is very updated, clean, good lighting and outlets. Beds are terrific. The nearby canal path is beautiful. A bus runs from nearby, but not on weekends and bank holidays, as we found out. Our room was ground floor and we liked that.

You could hear everything in the corridor and the room next door.

Great location for someone driving, 10 mins or less from Chester and on the main road into the town. Big car park with free parking. Friendly welcome, easy check in process. Lovely food in the restaurant.

Breakfast was very good so was the evening meal. Although on a busy road you couldn't here traffic. We walked up till we found the access to the canal. That was a lovely walk.

Perfect for what I needed, an affordable room for the night close to Chester. Check-in was easy, staff were great and room had all the facilities I required. Didn't get back in time to use the bar and didn't have time for beakfast, but the menu looked great and catered for my vegan needs which was nice to know. Will stay again if I'm ever in the area. Recommended.

The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent with various choices even though I'm gluten intolerant. GF ale was an added bonus! The staff were all helpful and friendly.
