Be prepared for the ding dong of the church bell on the hour every hour. TV doesn’t have normal channels - but every other apps possible.

The decor and ambiance was amazing. The Christmas decorations were perfect ! The bath was amazing along with the whole apartment. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. A1 + +

Had an amazing time here with my partner celebrating our anniversary, the room is a hidden gem and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Being so close to Christmas we were lucky enough to have the room decorated with a Christmas tree and Christmas lights. The town has a really nice vibe with some amazing restaurants. We loved it so much we booked to stay an extra night. Thanks for being a great host Shannon, we will be back soon xx

It had been raining and we couldn't enjoy the outdoor terrace as the cushions were soaked. An outdoor storage unit to keep them in and keep them dry would be handy.

Super comfy and cosy apartment. Everything was lovely. Loved all of it, especially the bath, robes and slippers, and the mood lighting and TV that moves, so much nicer than a hotel! Didn't want to leave. The pictures are accurate, but much nicer in real life. My only regret is that I wish it was cheaper so we could stay longer, though worth every penny. Fully recommend.

The location is perfect for eating out, but a little noisy as it's in the town centre. The church bells ring on the hour too....but I could live with this as the apartment was fantastic!

Only grumble would be there is no parking so unless you want to park a few roads away, it will cost you about a tenner a day but cheaper than parking in a city centre.

A lovely meet and greet by Shannon. Room is immaculate, clean and no expense spared on the decor. Bed is comfy and kitchen fully equipped. Not that you will need the kitchen. Maldon high street is loaded with restaurants. We counted 4 Indians and 3 Chinese’s, not to mention the Italians, Turkish and other easy eating places. There are also many pubs and bars. First morning we had breakfast at the continental which is 2 floors below the room (you can’t hear or smell anything from the cafe). But morning 2&3 we ate across the street at the Oakhouse, great breakfast. We also started our evenings at the Oakhouse with a drink. Please be aware, you will be staying on a buzzing high street, so on a Saturday night expect some noise from the local bars. This didn’t bother us at all. If you’re booking this fantastic suite, a good nights sleep isn’t your first priority. All together a really nice stay and we will be back.

Noise from the bar opposite the property was annoying, but the host apologised for this the following day after a discussion regarding this, and that it is something they have been looking to get rectified with the local council for some time.

Absolutely beautiful room. The cleanliness, comfy bed, beautiful rolltop bath, and kitchen area with all amenities covered, even washing up liquid. The host was wonderful, we got stuck in lots of traffic on the journey in, and after emailing regarding this explaining we was running late, she left us a bottle of wine next to the bath which was a lovely gesture. The stay was just phenomenal.
