If I had to be picky… the bed was a little soft for my liking… but we were so tired from all the fresh air and walking that we had no problem falling asleep

Fabulous place in pretty village with easy access for the surrounding countryside. Host Jonathan was incredible… so helpful and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Breakfast was fantastic.. lots of fresh, homemade options. Would recommend and I would have no hesitation coming back to stay.

Jonathan was an incredible host! The room was so lovely and made the perfect country get away. There were plenty of brillInt walks in very close distance we were spoilt for choice. The breakfasts were also absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend a visit!

I liked it all

The breakfast was truly exceptional and delicious made with absolute care. Preserves were home made by our host and the cooked breakfast varied daily. We were delighted with our experience.

Nothing I can think of to improve on - a perfect B&B experience!

I really liked everything about my stay at Sunnyside. Jonathan was a welcoming and respectful host and the breakfasts were really expansive and delicious, and catered both to my personal tastes and my partner's vegan needs. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and had some lovely personal touches and the en suite bathroom had a big freestanding bath which was excellent for relaxing in before bed. The location was perfect for exploring the Peaks and nice and quiet at night. All in all an excellent stay - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sunnyside and would love to go back again one day!

Loved my ‘room with a view’, and the chance to relax in a beautiful cast iron bath. Inside one of the cupboards I discovered a hidden library - what a find ! In the morning I enjoyed the buffet breakfast with freshly made warm bread and decent coffee. The owners of the property were lovely and made me very welcome.

wonderful house, room and host. the house has been renovated by Jonathan with perfect taste. The room was charming and all equipment of high quality. the only potential negative was the bed which felt a bit too soft, but this is personal. some people might love it. Exceptionally refined breakfast, served with a lot of attention by Jonathan. All in all a delightful stay at Sunnyside B&B. Highly recommended

We stayed for a couple nights and adored the cozy atmosphere of the cottage and its relaxing surroundings. John and Jane were lovely and ready to give us suggestions on places to explore. The breakfast is delicious and the location is ideal to discover the beautiful Peak District.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Longnor is a beautiful, well placed village for lots of walks. Sunnyside B&B is exceptional. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Breakfast choices were perfect and made to order. You felt like you were staying in their home but without them actually being round you all the time. All in all, it was perfect. Highly recommended.
