It was very noisy on the Friday night even though it says there are set quiet hours. It sounded like the people in the room next door were literally in my room. It meant I had an unsettled night sleep which wasn’t the best considering I was staying due to work.

Good location, room was a decent size, nice kitchenette with microwave. Good value and friendly staff.

Not a fussy person but if you tied me to a chair to torture me to be picky I'd say that the hand gel in the toilet was empty and needed replenishing, as did the washing up liquid in the kitchen area as couldn't wash cups up properly. Didn't have any contact with the host after first meeting as was a short stay but I'm sure she would have sorted the above issue.

The host was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Didn't use the shower but the shared toilet was clean and plenty of toilet roll to refresh. No breakfast included.

It was quite warm in the room (23°C in Newcastle), but the host did keep the window open for us in advance which was very considerate. The bathroom door didn't have a lock, or a handle on the inside, so you couldn't close it properly. The beds were definitely cheap but we both slept fine. Lots of stairs

We had a private bathroom (toilet and sink), which we weren't expecting and were very happy about. There was a skylight and the room was nice. You could only hear other guests in the hallways, so it was quiet most of the time. I wouldn't want to walk around the area alone at night but it wasn't bad, there were children playing out on the street and a park down the road. We enjoyed the city a lot!

The door to our room didn't have a lock on the inside, which felt a bit insecure at night especially as we could hear people constantly walking past to use the shared toilets. Every time someone on the corridor shut a door, it would make our door rattle loudly which was quite disturbing during the night. The location is about a 30-minute walk from the train station, however, we felt very unsafe walking around as we were constantly catcalled and harassed, even during the day (absolutely not the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of!)

Upon arrival i was greeted by a very welcoming helpful and friendly host,the checking in process was also swift and hassle free.The property was exceptionally clean throughout,tea and coffee making facilities and also a microwave and fridge provided in a small but adequate kitchen area,the room itself was quite spacious and comfortable with a wall mounted TV.The Property is approx 10 minutes walk from St James Park Definitely would stay here next time I travel to Newcastle

Not having my own bathroom or toilet however the bathroom was very clean. The area where the hotel was not very nice unkept and rubbish everywhere not good .

I was welcomed warmly by Michelle & i arrived slightly early but it was no problem. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean & comfortable. Everything I needed & amazing value for money. Had a great nights sleep, & there is tea & coffee available free in the morning.
