The location is very central , very close to the beach and to the train station. Staff were friendly, Rajat was very accomodating and flexible as per our needs.

It was like the Marie Celeste. The bar/function room had been emptied of furniture and there was no incentive to want to use it even for a drink. The list was out of order and had been for weeks (months?(.

The staff were exceptional but the hotel lacked any ambiance. The location was good for the town and the beach. It was a quiet location

The floor was stained and felt dirty in the room, the bed had marks on it the second night, bed was rather uncomfortable not enough pillows, drawing all on the bed frame. Tape holding together some of the shower

Refurbished clean rooms - but some of work a bit roughly finished. Lift was not working. Overall dated feeling to hotel.

Free parking on site. Also on road parking - free overnight and weekends. Friendly welcome at reception. Comfortable clean room which looked recently refurbished. Nice breakfast. Staff all delightful.

Noisy Extractor Fan in Bathroom - reported when we left - it didnt spoil our stay if it had we'd have reported it on arrival. o

We planned to arive in a large Van and we were advised parking it would be no problem didnt used and we werent hungry in the morning so skipped the option Breakfast so usefull this was an cost option. Late Check out was nice 12 noon. May use again if in Bornmouth 25min walk to Centre.

Bathroom a little small. Could do with a more powerful shower but it did the job. Lift broken but staff did offer to take luggage up and apologised about it.

The beds were amazing! Tea coffee facilities good room had what you needed. Breakfast was very good lots of choice given and started early 7.30am until 10am which was great as we early risers. Carpark space on site so once we arrived didn't drive again until we left. Quiet residential area.

The hotel is becoming a little elderly (hence the lift problem) and would benefit from some refreshment.

The greeting at reception was enthusiastic and caring. Noticing that I use a stick to aid walking the receptionist was most concerned that I would have problems because the lift had broken down. Translated into action, we were offered a full refund or a first floor room which we accepted. The care and concern - with many apologies - continued throughout our stay, and the impression was of real and genuine kindness.

This is a hotel that could do with a bit of TLC. The staff were great, but the decor, the public areas, and the rooms are all looking a bit tired, a bit scruffy and unloved. It needs some care and attention. I was surprised to discover that it is a 4* hotel.

The rooms were comfortable, and quite clean. The breakfast was limited but tasty.

The property had stains every single inch of the carpet, which made the room feel dirty. They didn’t even really look like they had been attempted to be cleaned, and they were literally EVERYWHERE. the bathroom and shower were extremely cramped and small, I think if you were anywhere above the average weight you would generally struggle to get inside the shower as it was a lot smaller than normal ones, I’m a petit short woman and even I was lacking of room in there. there wasn’t any decorative items like pillows or lamps in the room which made it feel less cosy than a normal hotel room, and there wasn’t a towel in my room only a hand towel and bath Matt. Never the less I still feel like for a “budget” style hotel I got what I paid for. The room was affordable so even with the above being said I could really expect more considering what I paid.

I liked the fact that it was good value for money, the staff were extremely friendly and helped me with my luggage as there was no lift in the property. The bed in my superiors room was MASSIVE which was a massive pro for me! the room which I had was spacious.
