There was a lot of chaos on the Saturday morning breakfast run. the gentleman who was managing the booking system at the restaurant appeared to be stressed and was not managing well. In my view he was too highly bureaucratic which made it difficult for him to relate to and be polite to guests who were queuing for breakfast. Clearly front desk work is not for him because he was not patient and some families gave up and left before they had their breakfast because of how cold and abrupt he was.

The decor of the room, location of the hotel, the security of the lift system that only people booked in the hotel are able to go up and down the lifts, the food was nice as well

The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast, it was not very well organised and didn’t have much option. No pastries or egg choice options and items were not replenished very quickly. However the breakfast room was beautiful

They changed out reservation - we needed two rooms with two beds per room and they did not provide this. One of our party had to sleep on a cot in one of the rooms. For the price we paid, this was very, very undesirable. I was quite disappointed.

The front desk did upsell me. He said my room would be very small. So I went for a better room. It was on first floor with view of brick wall. He tried to upsell me twice and I didn’t appreciate it. The tub was very deep and slippery. Not great for older person. Toilet was quirky.

The staff was so friendly and really great. The room was very clean. The concierge was really helpful. The breakfast was very good. Nice soaps

The room above us was incredibly noisy - when we complained we were told gather would move us. We didn’t appreciate this as we had unpacked and we were not the ones making the noise.

We have stayed many times and usually have a note to welcome us - we didn’t this time. Still like it but I guess we expected it.

We stayed for 10 days in a park view suite and it was an incredible stay. The staff upon check in were outstanding, friendly and welcoming. Jack was excellent to deal with throughout the visit and the doorman named Ivar was wonderful. He was helpful, engaging and always made it feel like we were at home. The hotel is incredible and the staff amazing.the location was excellent for an extended stay. Steps away from the Russel square underground made it easy to get around to everything London has to offer but it was far enough from the hustle and bustle that we were able to get some calm at the end of each day. We included the breakfast in our stay and that was also worth the bit extra.

The staff was amazing - very helpful and accomodating. I had some trchnical issues with my charger - the tech staff at Kimpton was helpful and solved the issue. Super satisfied with the staff overall - and everyone was super polite and nice!

Breakfast was poorly organised and service was not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel.On day one long wait for tea and coffee order to be taken and the another long wait for it to arrive. Day two we were informed by rather harassed hostess that she had a very long queue for breakfast with people seated in the bar waiting for tables plus a further two couples in front of us. We gave up and headed out for breakfast. Day 3 they arranged overspill breakfast in the Palm Court with more limited choice than in the main restaurant Fitz’s. They have an A board outside advertising dining open to the general public from breakfast onward- can’t imagine how that can possibly work when they struggle to serve residents.

Amazing and welcoming team! Carlos at reception, Ana in housekeeping, the teams at the door and restaurant were all delightful and always went above and beyond. Excellent from check-in to departure - but the visit was made exceptional by their warm and friendly team.
