If I had a little niggle it would be that the room was a bit too warm but they had put fans in all rooms.

It wasn’t that we disliked anything but a set of drawers in the room would have been a great help. Didn’t enjoy the breakfast as much as the evening meal, the full English, I prefer tinned tomatoes even though half a tomato looks better on a plate.

We came years ago and stayed on the same room. Room 7 the upgrade is fantastic, taken the hotel to another level! Very classy. We are in the new restaurant The Vault, just wow fantastic food. The huge bath in our room, wow, I fetched my white company bubble bath and dove in! Pure bliss.

Parking a little difficult , but not the hotels fault and Reception very helpful with directions & voucher etc.

Several scuffs on walls and bathroom extractor fan not working (only stayed one night so did not raise this issue). Also no aircon (not that this was advertised either) but a window was able to be opened where some hotels don’t allow first & second floor room windows to be so, and a small fan is also provided.

Rooms were clean and accommodating with enough facilities for the price given The Resolutions’ excellent central location - with free nearby parking that saved extra expense (factored in for added value). The Vault Restaurant and Bar was good value for money and all 3 members of our trip thoroughly enjoyed their evening meal and breakfast - even accommodating a takeaway sandwich for a member of the group who wasn’t ready to eat at breakfast. From calling to enquire about an early check-in and claiming a parking ticket early through to checkout, the staff were all pleasant and friendly.

I have stayed here before and I absolutely loved it, perfect location. So for my return stay I didn’t look for anywhere else I knew resolution was for me . Breakfast is yummy, rooms lovely, staff were faultless. Bar prices I was very impressed by! Will be booking a trip for next year with you

We have visited this hotel before and the make over it has had is really nice the rooms are lovely and we had two meals here in the restaurant and both were really nice and the breakfast lots to choose from definitely be returning .

The property was absolutely beautiful,from the bedroom to the restaurant.Perfect location being in the centre of Whitby.The Staff were so welcoming and friendly in every area,reception,bar staff,waitressing it was fantastic service throughout.The food was amazing…from dinner to breakfast,thoroughly enjoyed it.Will definitely stay here again.

Location was great and the Hotel, once inside, was lovely. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and room was spotlessly clean and fragrant. Breakfast was scrumptious too.

Would have been nicer to be able to park closer to the hotel. The permits were a nice touch but we still had to walk half a mile with our bags to get to the car on leaving the hotel on checking out.

Great location, staff very friendly and flexible with our requests. Rsetaurant was also nice. Initially hadn't booked breakfast but were able to add that option easily enough.

Parking is always an issue in Whitby. Great that the hotel provided a free parking permit, just a pity that the nearest space I could find was 5 mins away.

Breakfast was great, plenty of it. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a lovely view of the Abbey from our bedroom window. Location is good too, just 2 mins from the harbour and close to lots of shops, bars, etc.
